The Rabbit1 Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 that's called a neutral safety switch as well, if your having trouble starting the car you should look at the bushings in the linkage, if they are bad you can get some o-ring type bushings and some other bushing at ace hardware in the spare parts bins to take up the slack, worked good enough for me for the last two years.
