  1. Not 100% sure but I think 03has coil on plug, does it crank but not start or not crank at all. If it cranks but doesn't start my money is on the fuel pump relay at least that's what always goes bad in the older ones. Hopefully that helps a little
  2. I would be interested in trades. Txt me some pics if ya would. 4one9-72one-333one. That's my cell number. If you want any additional pics of the quest's let me know I'll txt them to you. Kinda hard to upload from my phone my laptop is broke right now
  3. Pics , list of mods and info, as in 5spd, AC etc.....
  4. Matthew George Forest OH, 45843 $1,800 OBO For both vehicles I hate to have to sell it so soon but it has got to go, So I can pay off some other bills. The 88 Runs good, drives decent, just swapped in the engine from the 87 Just a shade under 110,000 miles on the engine. doesn't burn oil, has a small leak though on the front cover down by the crank pulley, has a exhaust leak at the engine, unfortunately the hotside on the turbo is cracked I have not noticed it hurting performance though. Has a 1g mas installed, Completley depinned and repinned the plug no cut and solder The body is rusty, drivers side frame rail is solid, passenger side has rust in it. The 87 Basically just a parts car. The body is in a little better condition, however it has front frame damage due to a accident. My dad says it is fixable but I don't have that kind of experience. Has very very good complete black leather interior. It still has a transmission in it, the P/O before my buddy had them said the rear diff was new from Chrysler only has around 10,000 miles. But I have no way to confirm this. If you feel I left something out please speak up and let me know. http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/5ff6eda3-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/18c7fbb8-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/2a9fefa6-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/cb073d01-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/bf6e9c80-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/6042739a-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/fb8402ef-orig.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz210/xXEliteTuningXx/Snapbucket/ae43d755-orig.jpg
  5. Yea I know what your saying blue, the factory gauge reads 7 when I'm at ten on my aftermarket gauge...The hot side on my 12a is cracked so I need to pick up a spare soon...
  6. Be careful if that is a eBay harness bar, I wouldn't run it on the road with it in. There was a thread on some honda forums a couple month ago, where the kids harness bar folded in half and he ended up going thru the windshield... just a fyi. Other than that you have a nice looking quest.
  7. What is the shipping cost on a 12a? Zip code is 45843. If I sell some stuff I'm trying to get rid of I'm interested in one.
  8. Been awhile since I have been online, I finally have the 88 running smoothly. I got to drive it for about a week and the head gasket started leaking. So it got parked until I had time to work on it. I talked to the P/O about how much boost he was pushing thru it, He informed me he had the wastegate unhooked because he wanted it to be faster.....claims it never went over 14-15psi. So rather than rebuild an engine I didn't know about internally, I decided to pull the good engine from the parts car and drop that in. Good news is the parts car had a brand new clutch in it. The 88 engine is now parked in the garage waiting to be torn down.
  9. One of my favorite twin charged vehicles out there. Not sure on all the specs but it is a 2.4l volvo engine with a volvo 740 DOHC head. http://youtu.be/H_pB_urnQmQ
  10. Ok so I'm putting a water pump on today. And while I'm waiting on the permatex to dry I start checking the windows out again. joey_crandall suggested a fuse under dash but I had already checked and they were fine. Well after he mentioned it I decided to check a second time. I noticed there was no fuse for the power antenna this time, So I put a 15 amp fuse in and now my power windows work perfect. So big thumbs up to Joey for leading me to the correct place.
  11. Okay well today I was messing around a little more. I let the quest get up to full operating temp, and it has a coolant leak on the back of the engine. I believe it is coming from the water pipe that the heater core ties into. Can I cap this pipe off on each side of the engine for now? Or is it vital to coolant circulation?
  12. Well...... It's up and running again!!!!!! The 88 that is
  13. I pulled them out one by one and none of them are bad, And if you use the tester in the center they all light up... I will make sure to check them again though, its better two check twice anyway
  14. Another question... I got the battery charged up and have been testing things, so far the windows are the only thing not working. I read thru the faq and have checked fusible links - seem ok tried the window switch out of my 87 tried the relays out of my 87 So next I'm going to take one of my switches apart to clean it. If that doesn't work is the etac the same from 87-88? Thanks in advance, Matt
