ECI Checker Tool

Does anyone here have information on using the ECI Checker tool for their starquest? I got the tool, but would like to get a user manual for it because I want to know what all its capable of doing and measuring. The FSM has some instruction on its use for specific issues, but I didn't know if there was a more comprehensive publication out there.

Any help would be appreciated.

there's just a A and B option knob with a 1-10 settings knob ...... right?

so basically the 1-10 setting is for the individual sensor your to be testing from which the service manual references?

like A and 4 is coolant temp sensor values......right?

Contact member "coke" on here. I think he is pretty knowledgeable with the eci checker.

He used one to adjust my car at pigeon forge one year.

Thats correct. Its got an analog volt meter on it as well plus an external VOM connection. I'll check with "coke" as well to see if he's around. I believe it will tell me a lot more about what's going on with the ECU if I can understand the tool better.

Thanks.

The FSM has a page that shows the various options on the ECI checker tool and the values for testing. For the 1988 manual its in the Fuel System and page 14-55 and 14-56.

That is all I had needed, jsut had to read the whole fuel chapter end to end to find it. lol!
