Phill Nope shifts like a huge turd. I'll just smash it in and hope the shift fork survives. I have to pull out that piece and make it solid but I'm really lazy.

HAHAHA! Your gonna break your trans over just pulling the adjuster and making it solid? Takes 20min max.

How is your pedal adjusted?

Lion I pretty much have a consistent dislike for the car.

Phil I did it are you happy now? Unfortunately I discovered the pedal hole is egged along with the other thing I made solid. Clutch feels more responsive now. Unfortunately I did it with the car already on the trailer so haven't really test driven it yet. Hope fully this pail of turds goes 11's. I doubt it.

Falcon six puck unsprung with an act 3200 pressure plate. How I usually adjust the clutch is set it in the middle. Engage the clutch while running and rev the car to around 4or 5k rpms if the car doesn't start to creep I know I have full disengagement of the clutch. I will also repeat the same steps to find where the clutch starts to drag while the pedal is pressed. Also while checking the free play in the pedal. I do this until I find my sweet spot of how I like it.

The clutch has always been finacky since I put the car together. I really think the flywheel needs a new friction surface. It has been discontinued from what a few vendors have told me.old school fidanza fwd flywheel very light.

It's recessed iirc also the dsm flywheel is steped. Even if it isn't they compensate for it in the step height. I honestly don't like the flywheel it's too light. I want to say its like 9lbs or something like that. Very annoying to street drive with my clutch. Oh well we shall see what it doesn't do tomorrow. I brought spare axles if the car decides to hook. What pressure do you run your ET streets at? I was at 18psi last year and was cutting a 1.8 1.7 60' with plenty of wheel spin.
