  1. Do you by chance work at the Midas shop in Castle Rock? I've seen a red one there and on HWY-85 in the mornings.
  2. I guess he doens't nee to sell. So funny how people think that what they put into a car is what it's worth. Sadly, it doesn't work that way, or we would all be rich from our love of cars!!!!
  3. This one is for sale southr of Co Sprins, but he's asking $7,500. Realistic number is probably closer to $4k. He's had it posted for about a month now. Probably worth a call. http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4897917069.html
  4. I went and looked at this car last week. It hadn't been licensed since 2003, and they lady, original owner had no paperwork for any maintenance done. The car would turn over with a jump, but wouldn't start. Reading the forums, seems like a fuel tank, fuel pump or screen clogged issue from sitting so long. Since it was a non runner, I had them down to $1,200, but with wife put a halt to it. We discussed it over the weekend, and i got the go ahead. Unfortunatly the car had already sold. The guy helping her sell the car said they got $3,200 for it, which I find really hard to believe for a stock non runner. The body was in descent shape, but will need some work. I hope to see it on the roads soon. I had an 86 Doge quest about 20 years ago in Chicago. Of course I had to let it go when the head cracked. It was red with the black velour interior. Man I miss that car. I'd like to get another in the near future, but the deal has to be right. We shall see what the future holds.
  5. I had an 86 Dodge quest, red ext with black velour interior. Man I loved that interior, it was great for the chicago winters.
  6. Depending on how the 2 part tool/mold is designed, it could easily be suitable for both parts. The CF part would just be a wet layup, not an injection process on the female side of the tool. That woudl leave an A and B side, the A side, outward facing, with the CF floss fiinish, the B side toward the front having a rougher look, easily paintable to black or to match the wheel well. I hope that makes sense. The material and time for layup would obviously make the CF parts more expensive. I would definetely not go that route, as CF is strong in tension, but not designed for impact resistance, which is what these parts would be taking from rocks and such.
  7. Do you have any other pics you can post?
