Any comments in going with a 19c?

dont

For $350 shipped it is still a good choce. They work best on a 8.1 piston car. They tend to be a little slow to get to there sweet spot (17 plus psi) on a stock compression car. If you could buy one right it is a nice step up from a 12a. They can also be made into a big 16, 17c, 18g or 20 g by changing the compressor wheel and cover. The 19c were almost all made from new parts with a clipped 05h turbine

The 16g is popular because the boost hits hard with a big torque spike and they can boost sky high where the c wheels are done in the low 20's.

The problem with a used 16g's is you do not know what you are getting. It could be the small 05 turbine not the 05h and a 20 plus year old chra. . They also get traded around and run hard and put away wet..
