  1. Here is an HKS EVC EZ I'm selling. I sold my car and will be posting my extra stuff on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321082915890?item=321082915890&viewitem=&vxp=mtr Opened just to verify contents, and take these pics
  2. I am looking for an 88/89 transmission in good working condition. My car is pulling hard and the transmission is one of the weak links (87). Would like pics or someone local to central tx. Thanks! -Kev
  3. Now that radioshack sells computers they don't have a 10th the selection they did even 10 years ago. I looked at frys electronics with no luck. About to replace both connectors with something else, but a new knock sensor has the same thing. It looks like someone already recrimped this terminal... It is smashed
  4. Noone knows? I still can't find part numbers in the forums or the shop manual. :deadhorse:
  5. I have tep downpipe installed with no fit problems
  6. My wiring harness to the knock/detonation sensor was messed up (wires broken) on the wire harness side. I pulled the crimp on blade wire pins (2) out of the connector. The signal wire was still attached but needs to be redone. The wire attached to the shielding i assume for ground, was broken at the pin. So basically i need new crimp on terminals for the watertight connector on the male end. I cannot find these anywhere. I went to several auto parts stores and had every guy in the stores confused about what it was, or they had no idea where to get one like it. They showed me their catalog and i was able to find similar watertight connector terminals, but they were either too short or didnt have the same clip. Does anyone have a part number or supplier who can get these? I will probably buy 25 of em if i find where to buy since these type of connectors are all over the car (slight exaggeration). Also if anyone has pics of their rewire experiences with the harness on this car, let me know. There are a few other areas that need attention. Thanks in advance, Kev
  7. This is how i hooked up mine years ago, (drilled out stock pcv to allow it to restrict airflow somewhat, small kv after that then intake) Krankvent FAQ by Boosted One never really had a prob with the setup until this hose blew off... i didn't think it took full boost or i would have replaced it a long time ago and bought new clamps.. good thing i wasnt pushing the car, just got it running again after a few months of sitting, noticed the hose popping off after short drives around the neighborhood. Thanks for the info guys
  8. Isn't the point of the krankvent to eliminate the oem pcv? It is a heavy duty one way check valve that only allows pressure from under the valvecover to vent out, nothing can get in. Is there a reason to use an oem pcv instead? New knowledge gained by the boards? I can understand getting another hose to hook to the front krankvent... So this hose would see 15psi if i was running 15psi boost? Guess i had better get new hose clamps and a new hose... Would the crankcase bleed off pressure into the intake under an intake vaccum situation only? :confused0024: Thanks
  9. Its been a long time since i've worked on the quest, please refresh my memory. This port, which a hose from the pcv ran to (my krankvent), seems to be blowing off under boost (not for sure, but hearing air rushing under boost from somewhere, although it is definitely blowing off). Can boost reach this large port? http://www.longblogs.com/longblogs/gallery/conquest/intake%20port.jpg Dirty i know, any advice on what to clean this with would be helpful too, although i havent really tried to clean it either Thanks
  10. All still available, I have several people interested in the tail lights and hood. As for the car, any reasonable offer will be considered. pic of taillights: http://www.longblogs.com/quest/starion-tails.jpg
  11. prices: tokico shocks $300 for the set of 4 (2 front 2 rear) poly engine mounts $70 (pair) 2 hydraulic cylinder heads ($50 each) starion tail lights $120 for the pair 83 hood $250 hks evc ez $200 shipping not included, will work with you on the cheapest or best shipping method everything is negotiable, especially to those who will pick them up in person anything i make on these parts, i knock off the price of the car, since all of this would otherwise go with the car
  12. i want to sell the car as one whole unit, however i do have some parts that arent installed on the car that i would be willing to sell separate, otherwise they will be included with the car: off the top of my head: new in box tokico shocks polyurethane engine mounts 2 hydraulic cylinder heads that need work, one had a crack between valves patched 1 set of starion tail lights in mint condition 83 scoop hood (black) (original non-fiberglass) hks evc boost controller

Car has been sitting a few months due to power steering problem, pump has been replaced, it appears to be leak in the line, or it just needs to be bled properly.. haven't had time to do anything besides replace the pump. Wouldn't start as of this week, gas is stale, i pumped most of it out and it wouldn't even run in a mower... shelf life of gas these days seems to be diminishing Just married and selling off all of my expensive toys, $3500 OBO takes it all.
