  1. Redcat, you may want to consider those pads... those are hands down the best pads out there IMO for these cars. This is the same exact setup i used when i used to track and autox. night and day performance.
  2. all the SHP gone... maybe the others.. not sure yet
  3. Time to clear out the garage even more. I have individual pictures of each as well i just have to resize them. I will try and do that at lunch 2 - 16x9 rears. 130 Each 4 - 16x8 fronts. 125 Each 4 - 16X8 rears 80 each Will work on price the more you buy of coarse
  4. I might take to to Carlisle next week if i can get the time. I am so ready for a new toy.
  5. Just getting this out there. Some classic muscle, not a perfect car but its not priced for perfection either 72 Roadrunner original RM Hemi Orange car. 71k miles, A good driver that shows well at local cruise nights. Car is not numbers matching although the 400 is rebuilt and runs well with a purple 284/484 cam and headers. Had an amateur restoration done by previous owner and it shows up close. Has mud in the quarters, door dings ect but it shines up nice and is a good driver, paint is about 6 years old. A few things to finish it up and it will be a great cruiser. I have a cloud drive with hotmail that has lots of pictures and a video, shoot me your email and i will send them off to you http://images.craigslist.org/00g0g_f8bWGh9Zn6p_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00z0z_ghT45iCzvwE_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00U0U_55k8JWdURwA_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00X0X_4u1mqkoD6AT_600x450.jpg Text or email 14200 OBO New Parts PST Tubular Upper control Arms PST steering linkage Upper / Lower Ball Joints Control Arm Bushings Firm Feel stage 2 steering box Front rotors Rear wheel cylinders Brakes front / rear Front Wheel bearings Front / rear Helwig Sway Bars 3:23 rear gears Detroit Locker Limited slip Aluminum Radiator 2800 Stall Fairbanks Torque Convertor New Transmission lines Door & window Seals Speedometer cable Distributor / ignition / harness ect Gas tank / sending unit 17x8 & 17X9 REV Classic wheels Rebuilt 400 With purple cam Edelbrock dual plane Aluminum Intake Quick Fuel 750 4 barrel carb Hi-torque starter The "not so goods" Dash pad cracked, door panels old. Carpet is ok but could use a new one to fit better. Transmission Leaks Drivers side window guides dried and need replaced bondo in quarters Paint is ok, good for a driver Blemish on Roof stripe 71 Grill Not the correct rear spoiler
  6. If i remember correctly the rears were fine at stock height but the front could have been lowered about 2" or so. sorry i dont recall exactly. For reference i ran at stock height on mine when i used to race and my front coils were maxed out for lowering.
  7. Bought my first Conquest 17 years ago.... wow. Maybe ill get another for my 20th anniversary lol
  8. Guess hater was pretty harsh, I honestly dont hate mustangs. I love the new body style actually... In highschool a buddy had an 83 Capri 5.0 and his dad had an 86. So I spent alot of time in them and drove quit a few times. It just didnt do anything for me. Dont know what I will end up with. If i dont like it ill just sell it and get something else. lol
  9. I want to stick with RWD or AWD and a 5 speed with sunroof, t-top or targa . I also have a love affair to the late 80s BMW 635 but its hard to find one without a gazilion miles. plus maintenance can break a budget pretty quick on such an odd car. I also love the 90 supra turbo targa. Im tired of working on them more than driving them, I have a fun old tractor i like to work on more any way these days. If i were to find a Trans AM i would look hard for a WS-6 and not just your run of the mill V-8 firebird. Reliability wise i would imagine the Trans AM or the Supra would be the best bet. I need something with a back seat, although the kids are young so being small is not a problem. I'm one of the mustang haters... sorry lol. dunno, they just are just too popular. i know the trans ams are too but they have a better feel to me.
  10. I have had an itch to go forced induction again but those Trans ams have always caught my eye, what year did the LS1 start? http://pittsburgh.cr...5006275157.html I only plan on keeping it a few years then get something else, so its not the end of the world either way I have had a couple decent bites on my roadrunner so a few weeks time i hope to be in something a bit more latemodel that I can shift again I see no love for the Thunderbird tho ehe?
  11. ok, time for a new toy. Im looking for around the 4 to 6 thousand range. I think I have narrowed it down to 3 90-93 Ford supercoupe 5 speed Stealth twin turbo any year 99ish Trans Am Or any other toys? Im about all conquested out Opinions? pros cons?
  12. Thats was Twistedwankel Shelby. He was BIG into SCCA auto-x, took the white car he had to Nationals and cleaned house. I talked him him alot when I got my first car way back when. Offalot knew him too, how many of ya'll know Offalots claim to fame on here? lol
  13. wow... thats a whole lotta car for the money
  14. Thats always the way. When I went to the Grand Rapids Nationals the whole weekend was just a blur. Still remember every minute of it tho.
