For about $250 I have a megasquirt ECU I'm going to toss into my car. Why install three injectors and run a funky piggy back when you can just toss in a bigger injector and run one ECU that controls the works? ;)

Plus with that, it shouldn't be too much more to go MPI. Converted stock manifold, or the caravan manifold, or one you fab yourself.

Exactly! For the TBI setup I'm actually going to wire the MS to plug into the factory harness. That way I don't have to run nearly as many wires. Primarily I'll have to run wires for the ignition, cooling fans, and a few minor odds and ends.

Either way, if I wanted to go MPI it'd be really simple, I could just wire the current injector wires to drive four injectors if I did ever go MPI.

However, the real goal is to keep the engine bay as low key as possible. We'll see how it goes. ;)

That'll work, but if you have the MS & want a true even distibution to all cylinders, save up for a Magna intake. Is that GP still open? Delphi injectors aren't more than $240, sell your original 2 injs for ~$100, and complete stock intake for at least $50, plus another $50+ for the working TPS, and you can get a Magna and Delphi's for only a few hundred more. Existing hardpipes for newly fabbed ones = a wash.

I could just be rambling without making sense....Do what works best for you of course. I'm up waaaaaay to late.
