Thanks to all! I told to seller to see bottom cover and he informed me the bottom cover is sheet metal not aluminum and is not waffle. It is the same like mine. I will stay with mine. Thanks again!

So may be I should be able to use 89 trans with 82' clutch and 82' flywheel?

I have 1982 Starion car with stock transmission. Will fit 1989 transmission to my car - clutch, flywheel, driveshaft?

1.You mean oil pan must be aluminum? Ok. 2.The transmission have not car. It is only transmission. Must check the serial number on transmission may be.

My question is how can identify 1989 year transmission? I have 1983 and 1982 but I need stronger trans. Found 1989 but how to be shure it is 89' before take it. Thanks!

Hi all! How can indetify a differential wich is for 6 bolt axles? I want to swap from 4 bolt axles to 6 bolt, but I know I need from other differential which has more splines on the axles sides. Mine is with 25 splines on the axles sides. Thanks!

I am from Bulgaria.Thank you for advices.May be I must sell the Eclispe GSX on parts...But before it must be seen from a mechanic to tell me if it can be repair or not.The crash was front with about 120 km/h in other car with 80 km/h against me.

Thank you!yes I have a flat body non intercoled 1982 year.It is 2.0 liters European Starion.And before 2 weeks I crashed with my 1G Eclipse GSX AWD and I think it cant repair.But I have and Starion and think about the LSD.Its may be eassy to take a LSD from a USA Starion.

I have a 4-bolt LSD from Eclipse GSX AWD 1991.Can I swap with my Starion diff and what parts I need more?It will be great if I can run my Starion with the LSD from Eclipse.
