  1. Yah, I can't tell yet, haven't had a whole lot of time to check them out. Will get a look at that though, thanks. I wouldn't think that brand new seals would be leaking.
  2. What's up everybody, springs around the corner and I would like to get my car back on the road. Car runs great except the injectors are leaking around the seals that are suppose to keep them from leaking. I have replaced these seals like 4-5 times and occasionally they don't leak. This most recent time they started leaking, I bought the injector seal kit, replaced them and they're still leaking. Any pointers? Possibly the injectors themselves?
  3. Willing to ship the engine to Virginia?
  4. Forgot one question. Anybody know where to get the best bearings, or quality of aftermarket ones like beck/arnley? Or anything similar. Thanks
  5. Ok its def. the wheel bearings, pulled the axle from the spindle and you can definitely feel the pain. Haven't yet pulled the spindle off or apart hope there's nothing else in there that can get stiff and farked up. Thanks everybody for the input.
  6. Hahaha yah, should have thought that through before posting...
  7. Yah, just got new tires and the noise was there before I got the new tires. It seems like its only the passenger side and does change as I accelerate, kind of gets louder.
  8. Hey everybody, tried searching for rear end info or wheel bearings or humming noises, and as of yet can't find any info. Sounds like a hum or whining noise coming from passenger side rear wheel area. Was wondering if anyone could give me some info on what to look for before I start tearing into it. Or any info that may allready be on here. The noise gets worse as I accelerate. Thanks.
  9. Not sure if anyone is still on this post, but my timing was advanced 8 degress past spec. should be 10 degrees btdc. I set the timing and the problem is gone. So maybe try timing if you haven't allready. Also need to set tps/isc after setting timing back to spec. Hope that helps.
  10. Went to the junk yard today and not a single starquest was there. Also no mas from any other mitsu either. Will try and get some new parts when I get some moneys.
  11. I have been having very similar problems and have seen this issue all over the forums. After lurking around a lot, this is probably one of my first posts, sorry. I've tryed alot of the things everyone has suggested. Replaced coolant temp sensor, tps replaced and set it and isc. replaced oxygen sensor, cuz i was getting that code, replaced vac advance, thats what most people where saying would cause this issue. spark plugs are good, gaped properly. Has new plug wires, cap and rotor. going to the junkyard this weekend to try and find a maf, or the one from an eclipse, cuz i'm getting that code as well. I also had the same thing happen where it will throw the code for maf or o2 sensor, then go 12 volts steady, turn car on and off and back to normal, then throws codes again. I've been fighting this issue for a couple months with still no problem solved. It does get better when the car warms up. and once I start to boost past about 5-7 psi it clears up and goes like mad. But issue is still there. And seems to come and go. Thought maybe it was fpr or maf, so will try those this weekend and let you know if I find anything. I've got 2 other friends who are mechanics and are just as baffled as me and everyone else. Hope we can figure this out soon.
