How long should swapmeets posts be kept?

I'd say 4 - 6 weeks. This way one would have to repost his or hers For sale/Wanted items and therfore have an up to date list. This will for shure avoid people having to reply to a listing that is no longer available or wanted!

PLEASE everyone lets make it a STANDARD to post a STATE or a CITY where the item is available or wanted!

Good times,

30 days would be fine.

It would be nice to have a standard format also.

Maybe set up an e-mail for people to send a notice to you once the sale has been completed but have a semi-annual purge for those that can't follow the posting regs you set? :-/ That way you could start fresh every six months and take out post on your schedule based on e-mails sent to you.

I say two weeks with no action then it's time to go. Most people seem to get what they want out of their post by then anyways.
