Over the years I have sold over 100 of these units (I saved all the stock flaps) and rarely ever heard bad reviews about them. Basically you can only push so much air through the stock mixer housing, throttle body and intake so by opening it up it allows you to move more air through the system more efficiently. With a stock turbo I doubt you will notice much difference but with a larger turbo and higher boost the 52MM would make a noticable difference.
