scott87star
It would certainly help to see the actual AFR, I can see the settings in the ECU manager but wouldn't want to make changes without seeing a real AFR vs. coolant temp and air temp. Does it start easily? Are you using that ignition table?
Turbo Cary
Scott I live near Joe and am going to help him with his car as well. He said you fixed his ignition timing map. When i first looked at it the timing seemed way off. That was before you updated his map. In terms of the Afr i plan on going through the harness to check the wideband input to his haltech. The gauge he has reads and reacts normally but the software is showing a set afr of around 7. The starting issue is because of botched wiring the previous owner did. I know he had to wire in a push button to get the car to start. I got my quest from Joe a few years ago and want to help him get his new one running better. Hopefully you and I can get this thing running strong.
scott87star
Cool beans! Yeah, the wideband needs to work correctly in order to get it running really well. I gave him a non-intercooled timing map (which is still better than the one he had) but now that I know he's intercooled and got that way cool MPI intake I'll be sending him the intercooled timing MAP.
