Hi all,

Hate to do it, but I'll be shutting down production and development efforts after my current inventories are depleted, and current commitment (hatch spoiler run) is fulfilled.  Several things factor into this decision...and it's just that time.  I've enjoyed contributing to the community and trying to produce/supply some things we were all needing/wanting.  I may do an occasional something here or there, we'll see.

Other than that, I'll still be here as a member, just not with any vendor/developer/supplier status or ambition.

Again, I really enjoyed working in and for the community.  And I've reaped the benefits by getting to know all of you that I have.

Cheers and many thanks,
Nick

EDIT: Been asked by several of you...yes the molds will be made available for sale.

Check my profile for items that I still have in stock/in development.

Thanks for a good run and supplying stuff we needed.   Hopefully there will be an incentive in the future to do more runs of your products.

Yes thank you again. All the products have been much needed and top quality.  Hopefully the molds will be saved or sold to someone that will carry on your hard work and dedication. Thanks again for everything you did Nick.

Niko ... sorry to hear this, but at the same time I understand too.  It's a lot of behind the scenes work to make all this happen while trying to balance a real job and family I'm sure.

One thing ... am I reading what you wrote correctly - hatch spoiler??  I zipped over the group-buy section as quick as I could b/c I don't go there often but I didn't see that ... I see the hatch privacy cover which I did know about.

Thanks for everything, glad to hear you're still sticking around.

Yes sir, I have a few guys who wanted one of my rear hatch spoilers, and I committed to them that I'd do one last run.  I did a run of them in 2012, and another two smaller runs in 2013 and 2014.  I do a dozen at a time to maximize dollars on materials.  The actual wings are done and the hardware is done.  I still have to fabricate the center supports and the mounting brackets.  So I should have them available some time in August I'm hoping.

That's completely up to the membership.  I posted a submissions thread in January...not a single submission to date.  Doesn't appear to be much interest.

http://www.starquest...howtopic=152839

But I have to have all submission in by mid-September at the latest.  Lots of editing work to be done before I could begin to proof it in November.  I'm not waiting until the last minute like last year.

I thought the calender you did came out very nice. It has been good dealing with you. I'm looking forward to the hatch privacy cover and I told a few local guys about you doing a final hatch spoiler run so maybe they will get in on it.

Thanks Cary.  I'm close on the privacy covers.  Did not plan on them taking this long.

Lol not so much.  I'm still going to be here, just not in a vendor capacity.  It's just a matter of adjusting my priorities.

My '86 is about ready to be test-fired.  Once that's done, running, and tuned, I'm going to be putting a lot of time toward the interior and some other things.  Mind you, I've only had the car at my house a grand total of five days in the last six years.  Burton had it for almost two years, and Alex at Costa Racing has had it the rest of the time.  So with the time I'll need to put into it, I won't have the free time needed to do these projects.  That said, if there's something I end up producing/fabricating for my car, I'll post it up to see if anyone else needs one.

I've also been riding for about sixteen years...mostly recreational...but I've been logging quite a bit of track time the last few years.  And I've just recently been very lucky and been able to secure the new Honda CBR1000rr SP2.  This changes a lot of things.  My company wants to sponsor me on the track...so that may well be another time-consumer...we'll see how that develops.

I'm working on them!  Two will be ready to ship after this weekend...the other two not long after.  The promotion at work effectively put me into working two positions so I've been getting my tail kicked.
