i stand with starion88esir with not knowing jack squat. you asking me what i want my crossover at and i'm thinking something to do with basketball. here's what i want. i wanna be able to listen to techno at one point and simon and garfunkle at another. thats my rotation pretty much. Webster hall, dance/techno, simon and garfunkle, and some hip hop in between. I want the techno to hit hard and i want it to move around the car like it should. I mean pretty much i want it setup for techno styleing kinda and i'll just deal with normal sounding other stuff. cuz my driving music is that type of shiiiiz. I want good (not just OK) mids and Tweets. I mean from a store this stuff should cost like 1500 bucks but doing over the internet and getting deals and referbs and stuff i should be able to find it around 800 for everything. My friend can make me a box so thats not a problem, i'll trade some mechanical work for some audio work. I want the amp to be able to handle it like cake. Probably at least one capicitor and i'm getting timC's alternator setup. I'm gonna decide on a headunit and cd changer soon. but i'd like to maybe power the subs with one amp and power the mids and tweets with another. I'd like an equilizer in the mix and maybe like 4 or 6 tweets around the car. probably two in the doors two in the dash and two behind me. don't know what i'm gonna do with the speakers yet cuz i can get the two out of the door and the two in the back easily but the ones in the dash i won't be able to get at unless i take the dash out i hear so they will stay in. I might just cut the wires to them. if anyone has a good way of mounting some new speakers somewhere else on the dash that doesn't look like crap i'd like to know. i'm thinking maybe this: 200 for headunit/changer combo 250 for both amps 50 for EQ 300 for subs 80 for box 60 for wireing and somewhere around 200 for mids and tweets. all the items will probably come from ebay. I also need to know the speaker sizes for front, side and rear. all help is appreciated. remember I don't know the slightest about audio stuff. i've tried to learn but it just doesn't appeal to me and i don't retain it for some reason. ohms, watts, and amps, what? thats me.

ok i would like to know whats the biggest sub we can go and if the bigger the better? i was thinking two kicker solo-beric 10'' subs. would that fit? what size box and i would need a little guideance in making one. good head unit and changer? let me know a good setup that would easily fit in our cars and try to keep it under 500 bucks. i'd be greatful for some of you sterio fellas to help me out. thanks. for that you'd have to speak to kelly himself. But for this set it is straight pipe all the way back only having a bung for the 02. No cats and no muffler and if you want a tip you get it yourself as well.

boom, yes there is a place to stick the O2 sensor. its basically a get it out of the box and bolt it up kinda thing except for the muffler and, if you choose to or need to, a cat. right now there is me and MANGO that are in for the five person group buy. including you would be 3 than we'd only need two more!
