  1. Found this 89 Conquest on ebay in Alabama if any one is interested. Could be a good parts car. Parts Car?
  2. So his neighbor was doing 30mph on the side walk and tried to play chicken with a parked car? Damn shame, she was beautiful!
  3. Damn! $1076 to ship it to me. We both live in no Conquest land yet on different ends of the country.
  4. Update, O'Reilly's cannot get them even from the factory. Looks like it is Hyundai, or a used one from the Professor.
  5. No longer need the speedo cable. Still need the engine wiring harness.
  6. None of the Conquest/Starion numbers (SMP TH249, Airtex 5S5098, Delco 2132122) are available on Rockauto. I found one on there yesterday (TH249) but when I went to check out their system told me it is no longer available. Mitsu dealer I just talk with said their (MD614078) are no longer available, even going through their "vitage parts" dealer. O'Reilly Auto Parts lists them on their web site (EC3267) they do not stock them and the factory showed none in stock. Sales guy I spoke with said they could get one in 7-11 days @ $207.99 plus freight.
  7. I need a speedo cable and engine wiring harness. PM with prices.
  8. I need a speedo cable. Are you using your tranny in this swap? If you can part with the speedo cable pm. Thanks!
  9. Bagley, I take it you joined the Corp and this is the reason you are moving and need to sell. You do know the military will ship you personal belongings, including a vehicle, don’t you? Is Camp Pendleton your duty station or are you there for training? Don’t you know anyone in Bama that could store the car for you. The reason I point all this out is the difficulty in selling it right now.
  10. Some folks just don't appriciate style
  11. Interested in one of your short blocks. What would you like to get out of one? Need one that is rebuildable preferable one that has not been bored.
  12. Makes me want to cry, a car that nice being parted out
  13. 1988 Chrysler Conquest 2.6 Liter Intercooled Turbo 4 Cylinder, 5 speed manual trans. Runs and drives good. PS, 4 wheel power disk brakes with ABS, 4 wheel independent suspension, speed sensitive intermittent wipers, Pioneer AM/FM CD player. Black leather interior is in beautiful shape (normal wear on drivers seat). Right front fender has some damage from previous owner and the front spoiler is damaged as well. The paint is getting old and pealing in some places, mostly on rear spoiler. 156k miles/under 4k on rebuild. Things I have done to the car: Replaces all connecting rod and Main bearings and #2 Connecting Rod Installed New Crank Installed New Rings Installed 14 PSI after market Turbo New seals, guides and retainers on head Replaced MAF Sensor New O2 Sensor and Temp Sensors Upgraded Fusible Links I have the factory shop manual ($80 value) that goes with the car along with some extra parts. Car also has cable chains for the rear tires although I have never driven it in snow, previous owner did. That is when the damage occured. Previous owner told me that the motor had just been rebuilt when I purchased it, about 4k miles ago. When I replace the crank, bearings and rings the cylinders all looked good and still had the hone marks. I think they may have over honed the cylinders. Has standard bore pistons and rings causing blow-by into the crank case when I get on it. Properly fitted pistons and rings should fix the problem. Asking $2000, throw me an offer. Will consider trade for 4x4 pick-up. Pictures: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=2838 Willing to meet shipping company within 120 Miles. No longer for sale.
