I found out that Basically any tranny that Bolts up to the 302 will bolt up the 3.8 sc engines. So im thinking that the engine mounts should be in the same place. These cars were 4200lbs with a driver and a full tank of gas. They Ran consistant 15.6s out of the box. I have a guy thats selling 2 engines complete intake to oil pan... I think this is what im going to go with so look out for a 3.8 Sc Starion.

yeah they have 5speed tranny. Since they have the 5.0 302 option, im hoping that the mounts are in the same places.. I quess I'll have to find out. And yeah that 315tq is at like 2600 rpm so I would need some top end help.

I want to do somn other than a 302 swap... Im thinking about a Thunderbird Sc v-6. They come stock with 200hp and 315tq. Im wondering about the mounts and clerance. Let me know your 2 cents
