it has just over 77000 miles. when I checked the compression I had all the plugs out but I didn't disconnect the FI clips or have the throttle plate open. it was 115 cold. what's the CTS

the spark plug wires are ran correctly.

I determined it was the #3 because when I removed the spark plug wire from the distributor it didn't change how it ran. I'm not getting a puff of smoke on cold start. and I don't think I'm loosing coolant. compression is 115 on all of the cylinders. the car is completely stock so it still has jet valves.

the spark plug is sparking fine. I set the gaps to .040

I checked the cap also. it's good

I have a miss in the number 3 cylinder and I can't figure it out. new plugs, wires, I checked the distributer, it's good, egr is good. mass air censer is good. everything is stock

I will get pics of my car later. right now I'm working on my moms car. it has a miss at idle to about 2000rpm then it goes away

hi everyone, I'm 16 and just recently got an 88 conquest that had the engine pulled out. I put the engine back in and hope to get it running. my mom also has an 89 conquest, that's the only reason I know about these cars.
