dmyers151
I've got one, it's not bad. Will definitely need a little massaging at the inner corners for the headlights. It is not a "direct bolt-on". It's missing a thru hole for the hood latch mechanism, would be no problem to fix with a small hole saw or spade bit. dmyers151
The hood in my sig is a real '83. I sold/traded it for the fiberglass one I have now. http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr71/dmyers151/924C6381-3D08-44DF-A95E-DEF0B55115FF-13140-000007053161566E.jpg

flatty86
oh ok gotcha..... Well I need some parts from them thats for sure....So my question is this.... why would you go from the real one to the fake hood??? Did you have some water leak issues? dmyers151
The hood vents do not seal 100%, not on my personal hood at least. The hood would trap some water between the inner and outer skins after I washed it or a rain storm. I like driving my car as much as possible, and sometimes that meant in the rain. I was worried about the hood rotting away from the inside out, so I decided to sell it. I was going to just sell it and use one of my spare flat hoods. However, the gentleman who owns the hood now offered a trade with cash and it seemed fair if not generous in his favor, so I traded with him.
