  1. Thanks, yes I know Dad sells them, but I'm looking for some with a Mitsu logo on them! I think it'd look sharp
  2. http://i845.photobucket.com/albums/ab13/stock4u/fasteners/AB.jpg D & S are typically requiered to know when buying some caps. Should I just get plain 65x55 and hope for a sticker? lol
  3. While replacing the vacuum advance I removed the distributor and I'm afraid that it's off a tooth. Before I rent a timing light, can anyone tell me if it will even run while being off a tooth? Or do I just need to adjust it more.
  4. Searched SQC, google, etc. Can't find anything. Tried to measure the hubs on my rims and got 66mm outside diamter and 55 mm for the inside. But I can't find any center caps with these measurements. I want to find some nice plain ones with the mitsu diamond star on them. Dad was kind enough to tell me the OD diameter of his OEM replacements is 2.54. But that gives an outside diameter of 64.516mm. And no inside diameter.. now where am I gonna find those?! Lol. Can anyone help simplify this?
  5. Won't let me log into my old account. (JoeyLeet) Now I have to sit here and wait to search and ask questions to get my Starion running right. Any advice? I'm eager, man!
  6. Ended up having to sell that Quest due to bills piling up and my mom declaring it junk. I think I sold it off for $250, with a huge list of new parts. Now, four years later, with a much better head on my shoulders, I bought a '88 Starion with 75k miles on it. Cant stay away from these cars!
  7. Or maybe he was high on the DMT his body released as he was dying! Either way, "wow" seems better than "ouch"
  8. hot asian gf? well now you know why he thinks its worth it
  9. The demo is pretty fun.. but I wish they would bring back nfsu2 lol.
  10. Thank you Shelby and Indiana. Sounds stupid but I lost my job because I couldn't get there when the Quest broke. Gonna see if my family wants to buy me the BSE for a holidays present if I need too lol. Hopefully I will be able to do the BSE at some point, and if I do, I will let you all know how the engine is. I'm hoping all will be well, anybody have input? I put gas saver additive crap in it cause i knew itd be sitting car has a new complete cylinder head bottom end looked spotless with the oil pan off, as well as very fresh and clean cyl. walls clutch with less than 10k and obviously new trans fluid brand new turbo 2.5 in dp all fuses checked for burns, all electronics work except the blinkers dont blink complete tune up all done by myself after extensive reading on every subjects by you fine fellas. Think this should be her last problem?? lets hope
  11. No, but the lower bolt wasn't exactly tight. the chain guide was basically hanging down and resting/bouncing off the chain, and using the loose lower bolt as a pivot point
  12. shoot! why didnt anybody tell me haha i feel like an idiot. car has been down for months for no reason! driving season is almost ova!
  13. so i didnt even need to try to fix that guide with the helicoil? i could have just gotten the elim kit? GULL DERN IT
  14. well i took the radiator out and fixed that broken bolt with a helicoil, but that broke again after a 3 mile test drive cause its so cheap. but it was still a tight fit to get a drill in there. so would a BSEK fix this problem? because thats a heck of a lot cheaper than a new block.
  15. stupid question maybe, but would a balance shaft elim kit fix this problem? are there any kits that re route the chain away from that broken guide, would love to avoid pulling the motor
