Windows wont go up or down.

Finally installed door switches and my windows would not go up or down.

Installed both side switches and windows seemed to work fine.

Went out to a drift event and drifted for a while with windows working fine.

Began to rain and ran out to my car and rolled windows up. One hour or so come back to event and roll windows down fine.

End of event going home they did not roll up at all.

Already tried the window lock unlock switch many times. Tried unplugging the DS window switch harness and using a jumper wire on terminals to power them up or down to absolutely no avail. Tried cleaning both DS and PS harness, and re adjusting terminal female end plugs (you know to make them tighter).

It seems there is no fuse for the windows.

If anyone could post up if there is a switch, relay, fuse I may be missing or where the wire comes through at please let me know.

Thanks Josh

The Power Window Relay is located on the Drivers side fender towards the front (under the metal cover) in the top right rand corner of the relays. Check out the 1987 Starion Factory Service Manual Volume no. 1. Section 23-57, Power Window Relay on how to test it.Also check Sub Fusible Link no.1 Power Window Circuit no.4

Sub fusible link was bad. I need to drive this thing tomorrow to and from work and it may rain. Can I just hook up a inline fuse so I don't have to hunt one of these things down, and what would be the amperage?

If it were mine, and as a last-ditch effort, I'd put an inline fuse in a jumper wire and connect it ONLY long enough to roll the windows up. Once they were where I wanted them I'd pull the jumper. If it pops the fuse, anything larger than maybe 25a, there are bigger problems, but chances are it's all just due to 20+ year old parts giving up the ghost. Somebody else will likely chime in on the amperage.

I figured. I used the original fusible link and ripped it in half. Touched the ends so I could roll them up in the mean time. Just don't want to cook on my way to work. Figured the original went out due to 23 years and bumpy roads and the drift event sure didn't help with extreme heats under the hood.
