So had this problem with the car since i got it. i have several things that dont have power and i just cant figure it out. Granted i hate wiring so I get frustrated and say screw it...lol.

NON of the follow work....

1. Brake lights or Turn Signals (they do light up when the headlights are turned on)
2. Power windows
3. Blower motor for the heater (manual controls)
4. Digital Dash


Yes Ive replaced all the fuses , yes I have checked all the fuseable links.

The car sat for many years so I am wondering if a rodent got in and chewed some wires. Really the main things I wished worked are the Brake lights, turn signals, and the windows.

Grounds. There are so many grounds and they need to be cleaned for the electrics to work.
FSM has a list.
Also, the wiring connectors/plugs. Those contacts can also use a little cleaning.

I know I have cleaned all the engine bay grounds when i had the motor out. The interior is gutted minus the seats and dash and I have cleaned every ground i can find inside the car.

My buttons on the left hand side of the console arent plugged in because the switch broke. Right before it broke i was able to get the hazard button to work and make the lights flash so I know the bulbs just arent burnt on the brake lights. But that doesnt explain the loss of power to everything else.

Are the relays getting power from the fusible links?

Are the relays getting trigger signal?

The dash has a inline 5amp fuse behind the fusebox that isn't visible.

It looks like the turn signal and the stop lights are routed through the cluster controls so that could be linked. I believe the dash is too.

So its located behind the fusebox inside the car? all the relays are getting power as far as i can see through checking them.

i also do NOT have the buttons to the right of the steering wheel hooked up, my switches are bad, had to wire one from a later model for the headlights but havent got around to doing the other one. i know messing with my broken switch i got the flashers to flash once messing with it but it was so brittle it literally exploded to pieces in my hands it was do dry rotted and brittle.

still doesn't explain no power windows or power to the fan motor for the hvac.
