Fuel Line Length

Anyone know about how long the fuel lines are from the tank up to the back of the motor? Looking to upgrade to -8AN feed and return lines on my V8 Quest, and don't know how much to order.
Would 33 feet (10m) work? I'd assume so..

Should be ok.   but measuring tape does wonders

its about 15', depending on how you route it.  the whole car is under 17'.

Car was at shop, needed to order over the weekend so they could be here asap. Not trying to be lazy here... plus the info could be useful to someone else who may want to do so.

Thank you! Hopefully this will be enough. I'll update the thread once I run all the lines and say how much it took.

You're still gonna run a hard line under the car, right?  I know you can run a soft line the length of the car from tank to TB, (heck, I did it myself many years ago on another car) - but it's not particularly safe.  Food for thought.

No, no hardline for this car for now. It's safer to run hardline usually, but this is going to be carefully routed metal braided CPE line - not some rubber hose ziptied up lol. Still probably not ideal, but as long as it's kept away from anything that moves and above the "frame rails" then I'm sure it'll be fine in the long run.

NHRA actually states that all non-OEM fuel lines can be either metallic hardline, OR steel braided. I'm not trying to drag race this car, but usually if a racing organization allows it then it's pretty safe.

I did an -8AN feed and -6AN return in braided line and had to run hardlines for inspection (penndot).

i would use hard lines for sure but
if you use hose use PTFE hose with proper PTFE Fittings.

I sent my originals to inlinetube and they custom bent me new stainless steel lines with AN fittings.   I went with -8 and -6AN for the supply and return, respectfully.   I don't remember the exact price for I also had all of my brake lines done at the same time.   But it was a fast turnaround.
