  1. Hey SQC, Im hoping you guys can help me out finding a gauge cluster for a 1987 manual quest/starion and also a good condition radio bezel trim piece with the cubby hole surrounding the stock radio. All gauges in working condition and I'm partial to an unmodded stock cluster but I am fine with the gauge faces replaced with overlays or what have you. prefer paypal. Thanks
  2. Hi I am looking for a 1988/1989 starion/conquest MANUAL/5-spd ECU to swap on to my 1987. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  3. well I find it hard to believe that there is no search results relevant for advise with installing a new turbo when I searched "installing turbo" but anyway my question goes like this..... This will be my second 18g install on a quest... the last time being 6 or 7 years ago when I was roughly 18 yrs old and it was fairly easy as I remember. I will be installing a new 18g from FP tomorrow and would like any input or maybe a quick step by step write up for an install including how to prep for oil feed before starting the motor on the fresh turbo. I understand this is truly a newbie question for such an easy to swap but I'm just nervous I'll forget something and F it up. Thanks
  4. man that is so frustrating, I was lurking these boards for a used 18g for the last week or 2 waiting for a deal like this since I just blew the stock 12a... I couldnt let my car sit any longer and just bought a new one off FP.... DAAAAAMN IT
  5. I am in the market for some injectors, looking for your suggestion, 87 conquest, stock 87 ecu /no aftermarket fuel management (in the market for 88-89 ecu) complete hard pipes Rewired 1g intake MSD coil, plugs wires 2.5 catless back currently (3in exhaust to be installed) and a newly purchased 18g turbo I am looking to run higher boost and hoping to make decent power I understand I will need to get a new higher flowing fuel pump, BUT* what can I safely run without flooding my engine/ or what do i need to manage the larger injectors that you suggest safely... sorry for all the mickey mouse BS.. any helps appreciated Thanks
  6. the silver painted body looks really clean man.... I as well like the mesh wheels... but damn those 240s
  7. I would like to jump on this as well... sorry for the delay, I am a new member...I would like a set of DARK tinted. If i am not too late, please PM me with further pay details. Thanks.
  8. The last owner of the car was telling me it was a Florida car then sold to a guy in New York...My title says previously titled in NY. Anything else you can tell me about the car? Definately man, the quest will be on the road proudly represented.... I'll let you know when I need help fixing... lol but yeah man let me know if you are ever letting parts go or anything like that.
  9. hey man, I see your posts for your suspension part out... if it is still for sale PM me to talk prices.
  10. hey everybody, just formally introducing myself to the community. I am 24 yrs old, the male type... out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the proud new owner of (by the looks of reading the for sale post) Anv1l's previous 1987 conquest. I myself have owned a 89 quest in the past and was a lurker on the boards most of the time and managed to put together a fairly nice quest for the lack of money i had and the lack of parts available.. this was back when *DM was initially starting out. My quest was hit and totaled out... A very sad day but I later purchased a 97 eclipse gst spyder to tap my turbo itch while stationed out in California and managed to pour a lot of money into it but I always had starquests in the back of my mind. Fast forward, Im back home in wisconsin and found Anv1l's quest online and now im back in the game. - Im sure you guys know this has its fair share of modifications already but my future plans are to restore the body and paint....I am also very big into suspension and wheel setups so, I'm very curious to what you guys have toyed with as far as wheel setups, offsets, tires, coilovers.. etc.... but I would like to do that immediately before paint and body... I like the way this cars paint is faded right now... gives it personality... - and finally i would like to make the car as reliable as much as i can make it fast.... which usually means not reliable at all... - I will be storing the car winters to save it from any potential rust. Thanks for the future help.... Jim
