I spoke with Mark about another run if these, and he stated that the shop he used in the past is out if business, and that he isn't interested in working on any more. But, he said I was free to try myself.

So, I called a friend that recently opened his own shop, to see if he had any interest in this project. He seemed to be very optimistic about doing these for us.

So, I snapped a few pictures of one of mine and sent them over. I will probably be meeting him in the next few weeks to let him take one of mine for measurement and program writing purposes, along with a wheel for trial fitment. At that time, I would like to have a reasonable guestimation, of sets desired for an initial run.

So, who is interested....and what sort of REALISTIC price point would you interested guys be looking for?

I hope to be able to keep these available for awhile, but we'll see how it goes.

Edit #1

These will be machine finished. If you want them polished, you can certainly do that when you receive them. However, I'm not going to charge everyone to have them polished only to have the guys that are going to paint, powder coat, or chrome plate them, just have to undo part of what they paid for. I'm also not going to be offering polished for some and unpolished for others, as it's just to much hassle to try to keep up with it.

I would be interested in two sets. Not sure what a reasonable cost should be.  $100 plus shipping made in USA?

Yes, they will be made by a local NC machine shop. I'm hoping a bit less than that, but thank you for the feedback!

well 80 to 100 seems reasonable to me. BUT don't forget to include the packaging material costs
as well as the shipping costs. and a profit for your time and effort..

Pin'd for visibility...

The price Mark set for his polished sets about 10 years ago was $75 shipped. I hope we can land between that and $100 shipped. I'm sure material cost have risen some from then, but I'm hoping keeping a machine finish and not having them polished will keep our cost lower.

I'm waiting to hear back from my friend that will be doing the machining to get some more information.
