FOR SALE - $6,000 OBO - Las Vegas

I'm selling this car for a local Las Vegas member who's owned it for a few years but he's not as well versed in the mechanical side of it. I've done a lot of recent work and gone over every detail on this car to put together the below mod list. I can say that this car is amazingly well put together with several rare parts and a recent paint job that is very nice. The interior is in great shape except for some wear on the front seats in the usual places. Pics and videos linked above. PM me if interested. Please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. This car is beautiful to look at and to drive. One test drive and you'll fall in love. Looking for $6000 OBO. The engine will likely need to be rebuilt due to low compression on cylinder 1, but this car still drives great but smokes due to burning oil from rings on that cylinder.

Issues:
Cylinder 1 has low compression (~40psi). Suspect rings are the culprit. I ran a leakdown test to confirm it was bottom end. Cylinders 2-4 are 120psi compression.
A/C parts are of unknown condition and may just need a recharge or more work. Never bothered to investigate but I believe all necessary parts are present. Heater and blower motor work fine.
Heater blower motor foot/face actuator is stuck causing most HVAC air to be blown at feet – This is a common issue because of the design. Never bothered to fix. Face vents can still be switched to blow from outside air and that works fine for fresh air when not using the HVAC system.

Here's a mod list:

Engine:
Stock pistons G54B turbo engine with jet valve eliminator kit installed
Mechanical rockers installed - Rebuilt the assembly using the original cam towers with mechanical rockers and shafts and adjusted to .006.
Power steering pump rebuilt within last year. Works perfectly with no noise or leaks
Stedebani short throw shifter – transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding or popping out of gear
Newly replaced rubber transmission mount within last year
Magna intake manifold (MPI Conversion) – custom modified for RWD from Australian Mitsubishi Magna car
65mm ford throttle body
65lb injectors x4
*DM aftermarket intercooler upgrade (very thick core)
Factory radiator with 2 aftermarket fans mounted.
Custom aluminum intercooler hardpipes
Ebay knockoff greddy type RS BOV - leak tested and hold perfectly
Fuel Injection Pros (FIP) FC1S fuel control only ECU running megasquirt 1 main board. Firmware upgraded to MSnS Extra to allow autotune and various other functions not included in the base FC1S firmware.
AEM UEGO wideband o2 sensor and gauge
Mitsubishi TD05 18g turbocharger – real MHI, not china made, and a recent rebuild with no shaft play
Factory turbo manifold with no cracks or warping
Custom 3 inch exhaust from downpipe back – Sounds great! Deep tone not rice at all
Trilogy Turbos brand 2.5 inch step to 3 inch downpipe with flex section
Upgraded braided stainless turbo oil feed and coolant lines
MSD Blaster 2 coil
NGK spark plugs within the last 1k miles
NGK blue plug wires
Greddy profec boost controller – boost currently set to 15 psi on wastegate spring. Controller not set to add any boost (~$400 alone)
New XTR brand 6 puck sprung clutch less than 1k miles ago – holds all of the power and still has a stock like pedal feel.Rear main seal replaced at same time as clutch was changed
Oil catch can installed to replace factory breather system
Vacuum advance on distributor replaced 2 years ago along with cap and rotor
Derale adjustable fan controller for both engine side puller fans – Comes on when engine at ~180 degrees
A/C components present but not currently working. Heater works. HVAC controls relocated to glove box.
Brand new battery terminals with quick disconnect on negative side for extended sitting. There’s no battery drain issues but the car doesn’t get driven often and sits in a garage so it is usually disconnected

Body:
Freshly repainted a year ago factory color - Palermo Grey
Motocam 360 hood struts to replace factory hood prop rod
Metal radiator air diversion panel
Power seat belts work flawlessly and the tracks have been recently lubricated
Polished SHP (Super handling package OEM option) front 8” wide and rear 9” wide wheels
Tires are almost new and have a lot of grip
Stedebani black polyurethane control arm, differential, torque tube, and sway bar bushings front and rear
Fresh differential fluid and freshly replaced axle shaft seals
Fresh Dot 3 brake fluid flush and pressure bleed for both brakes and clutch within last 6 months
Still has factory ABS
Eibach performance springs front and rear
Stainless braided brake lines on all 4 corners
Front KYB blue shocks
Rear Mookeeh MK1 struts (new within last year)
Front Techno Toy Tuning (T3) adjustable camber plates - Haven't been available for a LONG time and they are very nice.
Rear adjustable camber plates
No visible rust – THIS IS A WEST COAST CAR WITH NO BODY ROT AT ALL
Aftermarket antenna – no power to mast because they break…
3000GT radio with AUX and equalizer – OEM and plugs into factory harness
Kicker 5.25" front door speakers
Dark tint on rear windows
Black interior in good condition but the front seats could stand to be recovered/refoamed
Auto-power down driver side window switch (’89 model year only)
Window tracks recently lubed up and switches were cleaned so they go up and down very smoothly
AEM UEGO wideband gauge installed in custom gauge pod where HVAC module originally resided
Innovate MTX coolant temperature/battery voltage gauge

Just curious how the Eibach springs/MK1 struts work paired to each other?

Is that higher idle normal for an MPI setup?

No IAC valve. It's set to hot idle around 1150 RPM. This way on cold start it will start and stay running and warm up fully without having to touch the pedal. There's no problem with it idling that high at all.

BUMP! I've updated the first post. The engine has low compression in cylinder 1 likely due to rings as confirmed by a leakdown test. This would be a GREAT pickup for someone with a good G54B or wanting to rebuild this engine with forged internals for high power. It still runs and drives great but smokes pretty badly on boost. PM me for more information or if you'd like to see or drive it.

My MPI is setup the same way at about 1100rpms idle.  Nothing unusual here and works well for cold starts, no gas pedal needed to warmup either.  The slightly higher idle is also great to combat running AC in traffic on hot days!

Good luck with sale!
