Well this stuff been sitting in my attic for 10+ years so I gues its time.Car off the road for about another month so what the heck.Slotted rotors,new calipers,s/s lines,front/rear swaybars,rear strut brace,1.25" lowering springs and Tokikos front and rear.Wish me luck. thx

Very nice. From the looks I'm assuming ST springs and swaybars? And looks like a TEP rear strut bar.

How u say?  Up untill bout  a year ago I was doing so much construction on the side plus my fulltime autobody job I just had no energy to do anything and the 2 projects I had going just sat in my garage.Finished my chopper and sold it to my uncle and used some of the cash to get my arse going on the starion and have not stopped working on her since May.It sucked cause my garage is attached so when Ieft the house every day she was stareing at me making me feel guilty.  lol

Well did not have much time being easter weekend but i managed to sqeeze in a couple hours and finished stripping/prepping front drivers wheelwell and also resealed all seams and put a coat of etch primer----get some 2k urethane primer on it 2nite and paint by weeks end then finish up the rear----damn  the factory seamsealer was dificult to remove---

Grinding discs,wire wheels,scuff discs,strip discs and good old fasion finger sanding in all the tight spots----I wore my fingerprints off on my left hand  lol

Was that a light coat of paint for the first application or primer then a heavy coat I see you used
seam sealer as well?How long did the process take you? What would have happen if you used that
gook off or kerosene and let it sit for a while to soften the grit?

Once I chemically treated the bare metal I urethane seamsealed all seams and joints then the 1st pic is just 1 coat of ETCH primer over the bare metal as you can still see metal showing through.Then I followed it up with a 2k urethane primer then sanded and applied a semigloss black single stage urethane then sprayed some chipguard to give it some extra durability.Probably between 18-20hrs in that wheelwell.
