  1. off the fresh rebuild it gave me about 130psi with all 4 with the stock TQ. but after when it went out i got one from napa i cant remember wat kind it is but after i TQ the head i only got 100psi then i ask a mech if it would be ok for me to run with 100 psi he said it would be fine but its not through spec but the car well run. the lube i use is wat the ARP recomend. followed the steps with the book through starquestgarage.com..... some of my friend told me thats just oil from when i blew the turbo and got alot in the piping's or something
  2. hey guys new prob came up with my car my car is smoking pretty bad its a 87 starion new rebuild motor .... from that time had a lil prob here and there when i was breaking it in but got those probs fix but when i re torque the head to 80psi because of the arp spec can but my head gaskit couldnt handle that much torque (felpro) lol that went out and goes out with my turbo too.... Now since i got the new head gaskit in there and just kept the stock torque for the head and a new turbo 16g on there but the car is smoking white smoke with blue'es color did a dry and wet compression test 1-4 give me 100psi and its not lossing pressure.... the turbo is not new its use but he said that there was no oil leak on it and it only has alil play on the shaft..... question is why would it smoke and what should i do to make it stop smoking like that? help!!!!!! ask if need more info
  3. can anyone help me out in san diego area i need a td05h 16g turbo ACTUATOR (stock wastgate) and a flange for the cool side housing.......
  4. yes it is a tdo5h 16g dsm... yeah i was at a pick in full yesterday didnt find any cuz all the eclipse that was there the motors already out off the cars.......
  5. is there anyway i can use a stock starion wastgate to a 16g turbo cuz its really hard to find a 16g actuator. HELP!!!!!! :character0056:
  6. i found out why it wasnt giving me any power on the high rpm because of the flywheel bolts came loss. i just did a 4 hour hual on it started at 6pm got the motor out at 9pm i just got done rite now torquing everything out dropping the motor back in at 10am heheheheh thanks for evrything guys
  7. yes it does i was just checking out the fuel injectors unhour ago they were fine and i just notice rite now is that its blowing out smokes when i rev it really high close to redline

  13. new piston and rod, rebuild head, new gaskits, new water pump, new oil pump, new mean and rod bearings, new seals, lighten flywheel fell pro head gaskit arp head studs new down pipe stock turbo re use spark plugs cuz i just got them a week befor i started the rebuild and wires...
  14. hey guys i was wondering if you guys could help me out im finally done with my first rebuild on my first starion went throught the breaking in process and every time i give the car a hard run from 1k to 450k it has alot of power but after that no power at all it seems like im over reving the car as if it was chip for a higher rpm lol but it thosent. help :character0028: :character0032:
