RJ
i cant get the 6 bolts/screws that hold the air dam to the front bumper loose. these are the ones in the front and there are 3 on the left and 3 on the right side. they are so rusted that i cant tell what type of fasteners they are. any suggestions? thanks
Burton
my airdam was wasted so I just ripped my old one off around the brackets then cut them off with a cutoff wheel. I made replacement brackets out of stainless steel when I put the new one on. Of course if you're saving your airdam this won't work. Also if you need new brackets to replace the rusty ones: http://www.starquestclub.com/index.pl?boar...;num=1062765037

mikec
The six nuts that hold the airdam to the bumper cover are normal nuts on studs. They should be 8 millimeters; you may find 5/16th inches works as well. I'll bet though that the studs just snap off instead. Soak them in PB blaster or some other parts loosener first if you want to re-use your stock ones. Wire brush 'em too. mike c.
