I think it might be the fuel, I added about four gallons of 97 to it but it had about four gallons of old fuel still in it. I drove it and the more i drove it the better it ran.I just need to get the radiator fixed then i can drive it more and i think after i drive it more it will run better. Thanks again for all the info.

The injectors are brand new from trilogy.First i need to get the radiator fixed and then i can drive it more.Should the timing be in the middle or should it be back 10 degrees?

Hey guys i just got my car back together it has been a long time.Anyways i was wondering if there is a certain way to time the car.I used my timing light and it is say that it is were it should be but it doesnt have very good throttle response and i just want to make sure that im doing it correctly.I am a mechanic by trade but i work on mostly GMs and on gms there is a wire that you have to unplug in order to time it,is that the case on conquests? Also i was wondering if anybody knew of a good place to get a radiator as the one i have is junk? Thanks for any info.

thanks indiana for some more information.

as soon as the car started it is mixing coolant and oil. I have taken the head to a machine shop and it was milled as well as the block went to machine shop and it was bored .20 over and they said that the block didnt need milled.i think when i torqued the head down the gasket moved and it is not sealing properly. It is a ajusa head gasket so if i remove it do you think that i can reuse if it is not damaged?thanks
-
i torque in a sequence but i torque the gasket and forgot to put the washers on the bolt and had to loosen all bolts and retorque again and i think i might have smashed the gasket.
-
what i meant is there a angle spec on the head bolts or just a torque spec?
-
hey guys it has been a long time since i have been on here i just got my ride running.I burnt number three piston and i just rebuilt the entire motor and i put the ajusa gasket on it but i was wondering if there is just a torque spec on the head bolts only or is there also a degree spec. The reason i ask is becuase i just tried to run it today and the head gasket is leaking internally and it is a new gasket and the head was milled and checked and the block was checked but not milled. any info will help.
