Hello everyone, Its time for me to sell the car that made my screen name, The ESIR Flattie. Started out as an 1985 Starion LE non intercooled with 4 lug hubs and burgandy interior. Throughout the years this car has had many parts changed out for the later model stuff. My dad and i have been using this car as a daily since 2004 until about a year ago. It has been sitting in my garage since. I have a baby on the way and two starions so this one must go! Here is the list.

Rebuilt stock bottom end.

Resurfaced and lightend flywheel with stock 240mm clutch. Balance shafts removed. Bottom end balanced.

Marnel head from "DAD" with stainless valves. ARP head studs. Mechanical valve adjusters with a stock cam.

19c turbo with td05H exhaust wheel in stock housing. 3 inch *DM exhaust with magnaflow muffler and a 3 inch cat.

88 trans with stronger alum pan, rear axle swapped with LSD unit from an 87 car, 5 lug hubs and brakes, Stainless brakelines, Polished ESIR 7's and 8's. KYB struts all around with stock 87 ESIR springs all around.

There is more...

Full 88 engine harness and computer swap with 88 knock box, delphi injectors, areomotive adjustable fuel press reg, walbro pump. *DM alum radiator, 180 deg stat, stock intercooler with hardpipe kit and blow off valve. 3 port wastegate actuator running on the 10lb spring.

Interior has been swapped out for black. Old Kenwood deck that still works and plays cd's. Mookee short shifter with modified cue ball as a shift knob. Car has the digital dashboard, all gauges work except the boost meter, i was never able to get it to work with the 88 ECM. DEFI boost gauge.

Car has good rubber, it drives straight, the trans shifts correctly without any funny noises or grinding. This is a solid driver. This car is the best sleeper I have ever driven, people have no idea :D.

The bad stuff,

The a/c has been removed.

The center console is cracked and is pretty much falling apart, mirror controls all work, just needs either a new console or some clever super glue.

The starter will stick ounce in a while, drive the car park it hot, get in again turn the key and "click". sometimes just a few hits on the key and she rolls over, sometimes you have to get out and give the starter solenoid a good tap. or just wait a few mins and try again. prob could use a fresh starter.

There is very small spot of rust in front of the right rear wheel in the rocker panel, i sprayed rust inhibitor on it years ago and it has stayed the same without getting worse.

Car shows approx 145k mi on the clock, i think it is closer to 180K mi, the odometer was changed at one point.

Im looking for $4500 OBO, make me an offer the worst thing i can say is no. Car is located in Temecula, CA. Car has current reg in AZ, i have a clean AZ title. I will be keeping my AZ lic plt. If you are wanting to reg this car in CA you will have to get it smogged on your own. I have a stock airbox and secondary air pipe and backfire valve for you if you wish. I am willing to drive the car approx 100-200 mi to meet you if you buy the gas any further and we will have to talk. Enjoy this is a rare car and lots of fun. Any questions or info hit me up here on the forum of give me a text or call (760) 803-5999. Tim

Fux! I been wanting a flatty forever and you're 30min from me. I need to sell a car or two. This flatty and the white Conquest in LA are just calling my name!

What's needed to get the A/C back in? No A/C in Southern California is death.

Mark, I kinda remember that, back then my gf lived in deluz so the starion got a lot of action on the backroads. I will still have my widebody after i sell this car so we should meetup sometime.

Ginasq, right now everything is removed and i have a pickup alt bracket. I think i have all the parts from it, compressor, evap, condensor, hoses, etc. The stuff is all old and prob needs new orings and a fresh compressor but ill let you have the parts with the car if you want them.
