JAinsworth
Pics on switch cleaning. Start with a clean work area. The bottom of the switches have white plastic pins that push against the metal to activate the switch. They have springs inside of them, be careful you don't lose any of the springs.Jimmy Remove the 2 screws. http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3858/420gj.jpg Pull up the rubber protector. You will see the end of the pin. One end is smaller than the other. Push it out from that end. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/1254/422m.jpg http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/8514/424jb.jpg There is a small pin that holds the window "lock" switch in place. Push it out also.
JAinsworth
Once you push the pins out, the switches will separate from the parts that need cleaning. http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/5506/426a.jpg http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3981/427d.jpg A clean one and a dirty one. Notice the 2 slots on it. When you re-assemble, they go into slots to keep you from putting them in backwards. http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/2263/430o.jpg After cleaning. http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/422/431lg.jpg
JAinsworth
Once you have cleaned the parts up, use some dielectric grease to help protect it. Reverse the steps to assemble it. Make sure the rubber boot is on correctly. http://img121.imageshack.us/img121/9216/429m.jpg
