StallionProject86
So I picked up my "GT86" in the beginning of October 2013. So far I am really impressed with her handling attributes. All broken in now pressing 1800 miles. I don't plan on getting to in depth with the car as it's going to be my daily. Just the basics (exhaust, intake, suspension..more then anything cosmetics.) (Here's my continually revised rendition of the FR-S via Gran Turismo 5..a little lame but yeah lol)http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/AhrweilerStreet_zps19b85474.jpg Edited December 29, 2013 by StallionProject86
TexasQuest
Cool little cars, I see a few tootin around here, mostly stock. Tons of aftermarket support for them, probably the most I've ever seen for a car not even a year old yet.
Cloud81918
Yeah the support for that car is crazy. I have to get one at some point; I can only imagine what it is like to have a supported car. It is funny how 2700LBs is light and the FRS is considered small. But compared to everything else out there on the market now...
StallionProject86
Yeah it's crazy with the market it has acquired in such a short time. . it'll be a new avenue for me since the Starion is my first car. I'm anxious to get into the new and improved 86, going through the reviews both video and from owners and it's been primarily positive. So yeah. . it's a little odd at first I didn't even like them much but that was the same thing that happened with the Mitsubishi. Now I'm in love with it. . Home at last. http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/The%2086/GT86/IMG_1330_zpsfa74e7d2.jpg I'll get a proper shoot in soon hopefully. It's quite the fun ride. Really happy with my purchase. Edited December 29, 2013 by StallionProject86

dmyers151
I sat in one when we bought my lady's CRV from a Subaru dealership. They are really neat cars. If it weren't for the weather up here I'd consider one.
StallionProject86
Congrats man, those are cool little cars. Thank you sir. I am really surprised I even got approved, without a co-signer or help.. was completely on my own. I was just going out on a limb because the limited time rate my credit union had was so good I had to try for it. Good thing for prioritizing my credit. TexasQuest
Congrats. This will help your credit building a lot.
StallionProject86
Here's another photo from last night..bare with me I still need to learn how to shoot the lines of this car...it's a bit more "swoopy" then the Starion. http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/The%2086/GT86/IMG_1340_zpsd76b1bdd.jpg I'm pricing out a Borla exhaust (as it's the only sound I like with this 2.0 boxer) but jeez it's expensive. I'll have to add it in sections.. Edited September 15, 2013 by StallionProject86
StallionProject86
Took her up and around gmr yesterday to get that suspension properly tested. Had a great time. Handles like a dream. http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/The%2086/GT86/GimpIMG_1357_zps9f78c8cc.png
Fanta
Haha, you suddenly realize just how bad our cars can handle
StallionProject86
You know honesty the StarQuest isn't that bad at all. It takes a different approach is all but as long as you have your pedal control down I find it rather fun as well. Yes its heavier and brakes wear quicker but still I like both of the cars characteristics. Each have their pros and cons you know
StallionProject86
I think I squared away my lighting http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/The%2086/GT86/GimpIMG_1376_zpsfe104b34.jpg
StallionProject86
Becausee I got bored. . Photo shopped some of our lovely wheels on the FRS. Doesn't "go" like I was hoping http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/IMG_20131104_070630_zpsc3d3a215.jpg
MasterVivi
Would look awesome with those wheels if it was lowered and had a spoiler!
StallionProject86
Yeah the more I look at it the more I like it. Ahah. I do have a spoiler though? Do you mean up front? If so that's in the future as well as some eibachs. Edited November 12, 2013 by StallionProject86

StallionProject86
So I got the springs in yesterday, definitely pleased. http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/ab308/LAJits-media/The%2086/GT86/IMG_1558_zpsbe52ed17.jpg
tankbob
Rear looks like it could use a spacer but otherwise looks real nice without all that gap.
StallionProject86
Yeah I agree a spacer would be a sound investment. I'm still thinking aftermarket wheels though. The oem ones are cool but so tiny lol
