I have been a member for several years now but never really posted anything so I am still considered a newbie. Now I'm wanting to get more involved on the site and the first thing I want to do it post a newbie introduction. But for some reason it won't let me post a newbie intro. I can post in newbie question and answer section just fine though. Is there something I'm missing?

Some forums are restricted until you reach 50 posts. Post a noob thread in the newbie section and it shouldn't take you very long to hit 50.

Anyways, Welcome Cam!!

You have to be a newbie to start a new thread in the newbie forums.  Both of you are considered members and not newbies.

Same problem for me too.  Have been hunting round the site to see if there is a guide for removing the loom from a Starquest and installing a new one, doesn't look like a fun job and am hoping there might be something on it, but can't post in the right forum to ask...

If you are considered a "newbie" but have been a member for a long period of time, the restrictions are different for you.  You have full access to the regular forums, but don't have access to the newbie forums.  You can post in the members forums based on a grandfather type clause.

I can't post anywhere.  Was able to when I first signed up for the site, (newbie introduction), but now nowhere.  What am I doing wrong?

I am over 50 posts, I think and just bought a 87 Starion so I am back in the game and I can not post anything about me or it......why are the new threads limited? I am not a newbie but I should be able to post in New Owners forum and I can not

You are considered a member not a newbie; that is why you cannot post in the new member forums.  Post your intro in the BS forum.
