PDodson
Well Phil how would I go about in deleting my msd box, My previous msd box went out and it only lasted about Less than a year
scott87star
You have a perfectly good ignition transistor running your MSD box, just take the box out and run the SAME WIRE that used to go to it (points input) to the negative coil terminal. +12V switched to the positive side of the coil and then go into your Tuner Studio ignition settings and find the dwell setting. Change it from FIXED DUTY to dwell control, try 3.0 mS dwell time. DONE! Even pTurtle can knock that out in a day.

Funky Phil
well, then mSD was not the prob. Check spark angle wire from dist to ecu. Maybe a bad pickup.
PDodson
well, then mSD was not the prob. Check spark angle wire from dist to ecu. Maybe a bad pickup.msd was the problem, msd would not power up while cranking the car phil..........when I uninstalled the msd box, i removed the coil wire from the coil and I found water underneath the coil wire, I think that is what caused the msd to go out ill check everything tonight or a little later from now ill prolly just order another msd box in a week or 2 Edited September 14, 2014 by PDodson
scott87star
You don't have an rpm signal it won't matter if you have three MSD boxes, the ECU won't even try to fire anything since it doesn't think the engine is running. Fix that!
PDodson
i would if i could there scott, sometimes i wish i could just rip all the wiring out and start over is there a way we can do that scott, just somehow start over with the whole ignition wiring?
