mechengrkj Posted May 26, 2015 Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 What have you guys done for a front tow hook? My stock tow hooks are all bent up from the previous owner. I had to get towed last week and was afraid that my airdam was going to get damaged because of how bent they are. I'd like to get something that sticks out a little farther than the airdam to keep it from getting damaged. I've seen this thread, but I don't have a welder to build my own. Just cut some angles drill some holes and bolt it all together.Sometimes sitting and staring at something......might make you look stupid....but can be very helpful.....also having extra steel laying around can help....just a little Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A mod I did on my Vette was to bolt a pair of skateboard wheels to either side, that sit lower than the splitter. But, if you jack the car up, get a long pry bar and poke through one of the holes.You can easily straighten them back.Mine where bent over really bad too....on a different starquest.
