  1. and our wheels just look bad on alot of cars , ive got some friends that are big into volvos , and i didnt know they look for the starion wheels too , they look good on the old bricks , its cool when u see some guys go down the road less traveled
  2. heres my take on the whole thing , i dont think u have to bash one kind of car to the next , i know around here calling s-13/14 ect is normal at least i know what car and model there talking about and 240s are great platforms, ive always liked them , and any well cared for and well built car will perform good , but as always theres the ones that get's ahold of them and trash them out wich is sad,they put awful looking body kits/lights ect doing chop shop lowering and so on, its like i tell some of the honda guys that try to make there civic look like a ferrari with crazy kits and wing's that when i say when its said and done its still just a honda, but there's a hand full of honda guys i have great reapect for they have really clean and fast cars, just put the right stance parts ect , i enjoy hitting some local cruiz spots and letting them look over the quest and answer questions they have, there always shocked that its a factory, independent rear wheel drive 8 way adjustable 9inch wide rear turbo widebody car lol
  3. ahh thanks u know the work that goes into these cars , the 72 was my first hot rod i built pretty much from the ground up i have a 68 but its still in early stages , then i found a 74 CELICA GT never in my life thought id own a toyota , but its such a rare find around here i honestly dont think ive seen a coupe on the road here , i seen a few fastbacks but no coupe's , and blower visibility hmm well is about as good as any blower
  4. its funny that where talking about john law the day i took pics of the dart the officer in the background stoped just to take a look at the dart and quest
  5. i know i enjoy the responce i get when i have the quest out and around where i stay there is only maybe a handful of them in town , and when i hit the local cruiz spots or shows always big crowds around her asking questions , and true ever so often a guy may know what it is and little about them , and its one car that always gets respect with the hot rod guys and the tuner crowd , its funny when u can park next to a high end car ,and people walk by just to ask u about the quest , and like DARTMOTIVE my first love is mopars and i have a 72 and a 68 dart myself , i like stuff u dont see everyday and mopars fell in that catagory theres not many around here , and not trying to thred jack but threw in a couple pics of a couple other builds http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff474/JASONCROFFORD/dart72.jpghttp://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff474/JASONCROFFORD/conquestblown.jpg
  6. yes id like to get to around 18 to 20+ psi safely on tbi soon ill be going mpi ect then ill beable to take full advantage of this setup , but like to enjoy it with tbi for awile anyways
  7. any updates on this as im fighting the same condition , on the pass side i checked my oil cooler lines real good today with no sign of leaks but even on the inside of the pass wheel had oil on it , but it likes to sling on my downpipe and smokes like crazy , very frustrating but i guess im going to get it jacked up reall high tom and let it run for awile to try to see where its coming from , but several weeks ago i had it at my buddys shop on the rack and we coudent track down where its coming from ,buts its bad enough to cake the bottom of the car , crazy u think it be obvious
  8. so the tbi guys what are u using to tune these with and injectors/boost levels u at , ive been trying to get it tuned with just maf-t and stock injectors and itd been really difficult to tune out the rich and lean conditions compared to the 16g that was on here mainly in the full throttle area i can hammer down at first it wants to go pig rich then when boost does build its pretty explosive then starts to reach lean pretty quik so ive been taking it real slow to keep plenty of fuel in it under full boost , and i may be fighting a few other issues also thinking the bov is leaking at 12psi or more , or maybe the wastegate not sure yet but feels like a boost leak when im getting to those levels
  9. yes i hear u man , i had to overcome more hurdles than i originally planned , and more to overcome im sure, but overall it came together well a little trial and error to get everything to fit and work properly, i had to modifie my pipes a little to

  13. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff474/JASONCROFFORD/014.jpghttp://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff474/JASONCROFFORD/016.jpg So i finally got everything back together, and looks really good , just working out a few bugs and trying to tune this monster , its been tricky was running way rich in boost and i finally got it to lean out and now im putting fuel back in , had to order another set of plugs as mine are kinda fouled because of the rich cond i was having so when i was building some decent boost she backed fired on me a few times, and ive had to adjust my bov, it may had a little to do with it, but over all very happy just going to take awile to get everything in sinc
