Open up the fuel flow.  It's restricted. You'll be boosted. Also walbro is poop.

Let me explain my fuel system wiring.
I have my own seperate igniton-on relay wired in, and instead of running a new wire all the way to the pump I just used the test wire since I knew it fed the pump. No, it doesn't have a control relay in the mix and while it would be safer I prefer simplicity - good suggestion though!

I fixed the line so it was no longer sucking air.
I actually poked a hole in the baffle in case that was an issue as well. I took apart and rebuilt my regulator and checked it, regulator is working great. Took apart and cleaned out my carburetor, it's basically brand new and I set all the mixture screws. Completely cleaned out the fuel tank. Put everything back together and it seemed to do great, I unhooked the fuel line at the carburetor and it has a nice steady stream of fuel.

Went for a test drive, drove great about 3 minutes then broke down again, spitting and sputtering to a stop. Let it sit 5 minutes, cranked back, drove back and it started breaking down as I coasted back into my garage. So frustrated.

Update: Just pulled the relay now that I thought about it and it seems as though one pin on the relay has become blue-ish and discolored, looks like it had got VERY hot at some point. Going to try out a new relay too, although I would think a bad relay would either work or not work, not go bad after a certain period of time... I could be wrong though.

After weeks of frustrating and money thrown at it, the coil was getting hot when driving and cutting out EXACTLY like fuel starvation. Even my Dad who's been a mechanic 35 years drove it and thought it was a fuel problem.

New coil. Drives great. Thanks for all the help!
