The new exhaust manifold with the external wastegate was from treadstoneperformance. It is very well made and it carries a lifetime warranty. In regards to the lumpiness, it's because of the 284m camshaft. The idle sounds like a v8 below 1100 rpms. It smooths out above that. Thanks for the support guys. I'll be making some dramatic changes in the coming months including all new intercooler piping and a complete black interior swap. The engine will get some ARP head studs and a new AJUSA MLS head gasket while I'm at it. I might change out that external wastegate too if it doesn't work properly, it's an ebay one and I haven't road tested it yet. This weekend I'll update with more pics and a vid of it running with the new manifold setup.

Little update today, I had a small exhaust leak from a manifold stud that came loose. I put some locktight on it so it should be good to go. I'm going to road test tomorrow and I'll update with vids. Edited by CaliConquestAlex

Fixed a few of the picture links from my first post. Some of the links weren't working properly. On a side note, I just purchased a new intercooler and piping kit so stay tuned for an update with all new intake plumbing. I also forgot about the vid I made when I was selling the car awhile back:

I've installed the new intercooler and piping. I also redid most of the vacuum lines and I'm going to relocate the harness for my LC-1 WB02 to inside the cabin to reduce the wiring under the hood. I've still got more to do and more parts coming. I just ordered a synchronic 40mm external wastegate and I'm looking for a good EBC.

Just found out I'm getting a $3k tax return so there'll definitely be more to come...

So...you aren't running msd or a "old" coil anymore? just the coilpack that came with the edis? Which Megasquirt are you using? Did you get all your info for your EDIS swap on DIY? Thanks man...Sweet car. Edited by BOHO

Yes, there's no more coil or distributor. The megamanual has more information that could possibly want for the megasquirt. I am running a Megasquirt 2 V3.0 on the 2.886 firmware. I'm using the MK1 edis crank pulley with the VR sensor bracket as well. The EDIS components were found at my local pick-n-pull.

I have yet to road test the new setup. I'm still in NYC for business and I'm flying in tomorrow. I have a new Synchronic Wastegate to put on to go along with the nice BOV. The ssqv reacts to the slightest throttle blips. It's great. When I rev at idle is purges a small amount of air. It's excellent. When I get the car running top notch we'll go for a ride. Right now I'm working minimum 55 hr weeks for work and that won't end till april. Then I'll have some time to devote to the car.

I've installed the new intercooler piping, synapse WG, and new intercooler. Also relocated a bunch of wiring. It's a work in progress, but it'll get done right. I've got limited free time. Still to come is the install of the parts from OutcastZeroOne. Still haven't had a chance to pull the car out of it's spot. I'm waiting for winter to be over so I can get some serious work in on the car. I'm planning on a complete interior makeover as well as further engine bay cleanup.

I've got a video as well:

I read the post, but I'm not sure what could be the problem. Only thing I can recommend is that you pull it all out and re-wire it again. It's not that many connections. Possibly you overlooked something. The system isn't that complicated, it either works or it doesn't. My car has an occational misfire at idle that I'm trying to figure out. I think I'm going to pickup an Accel Coil pack and some new plug wires. What I've got now came from a junk yard and it's condition is unknown.

*EDIT: Just bought an Accel coil pack and Magnecor Plug wires. I've also got a new oil pan to put on with a -10 an oil drain fitting installed.
