RallyMaster
Thanks guys! And yes, The Starlet! One of my favorites. We'll do some headworks, bore out the cylinders and putting some twin side carbs on it real soon.
nfelge
I was looking at a Starlet before I got my Conquest. I'd like to own one someday! Definitely keep me updated on that!
RallyMaster
TexasQuest, Some of the parts I got from you is still in L.A. What I have here are the gas lid and a couple of horn pads.

SFBMX88
It looks to me that the KP62v wagons came from the factory with round headlights..... http://cdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp/minkara/userstorage/000/003/032/104/b8adc294d3.jpg http://minkara.carvi.../blog/26381126/ http://garage7191.fc...kp30-61_03.html http://www.nostalgic...096/lov_096.htm http://www.flickr.co...ue3/7763345378/ http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/image.aspx?src=http%3a%2f%2fcdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp%2fcarlife%2fimages%2fUserCar%2f405441%2fp1.jpg%3fct%3de5d40bed5665 http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/image.aspx?src=http%3a%2f%2fcdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp%2fcarlife%2fimages%2fUserCar%2f218849%2fp1.jpg%3fct%3d9abb8b921843 http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/image.aspx?src=http%3a%2f%2fcdn.mkimg.carview.co.jp%2fcarlife%2fimages%2fUserCar%2f136816%2fp1.jpg%3fct%3d6a8485b8c73f Maybe it was Japan only? Wonder where to get the parts to convert? Nice cars BTW!! Edited October 9, 2012 by SFBMX88
RallyMaster
it's my first time to see those.... the wagons didn't come out here in the philippines. yes, maybe in japan only. i think that's easy to modify... just retrofit a rounded frame into a square headlight frame. with some fiberglass and resin of course. RallyMaster
SFBMX88, I was able to talk with this Starlet enthusiast. He has the headlight frame that you're talking about. Unfortunately he's not selling his. Although I asked him if he would allow me to have it molded and reproduced with fiberglass. He said it's cool with him. We didn't get the chance to finalize the agreement coz there were a lot of people in the group at the time. I'll try to reach him soon and we'll see. SFBMX88
Thats awesome! Can you guys also fiberglass the metal valence between the grill and the bumper? If those could be done, then we would just have to find the actual metal headlight brackets that hold the lights to the body. I also contacted the owner of that green KP62v wagon on minkara but still looking for a proper translation... SFBMX882012/11/17 12:07:49VERY NICE WAGON!! Im from California in the United States! I have a question for you though. Do you know where I can buy similar KP62v front end so I can install the parts on my KP61? I like how the round headlights look!! http://i.imgur.com/KbkJf.jpg (Thank you ^ ^ KP middle is round late, becomes a square hole and hood the same grille and headlamp and lower panel in Exchange, medium-term turned round. But Japan no less KP wagon is for parts.) Closest I got was from a person not a program : "thank you, KP from middle turn round eye after it became square. the grill is the same, headlamp and lower panel exchange.. in japan KP parts are rare and there is no parts". RallyMaster
The valence should be included in the fiberglass replicas. The metal brackets your talking about is easy to source out here. BTW, here's my Starlet with the new tuned stage 3 TRD spec 4K with Twin Weber 40s. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/AMG280CE/P1130846.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v356/AMG280CE/P1130847.jpg
