TSiGuy17
I only bought it to make me look cooler. To make me look like I know what I'm doing. Hey at least I have a good reason, unlike you guys. psh. -Ryan
psu_Crash
I bought one a few days ago at that price too. Too good to pass up. I figure that along with the Eibachs, full polys, and all new suspension should make it handle like it's on rails.I'm with you on wondering what the "blem" is. Once we all have them we'll have to compare. I've bought a couple blem items off 101 in the past and I couldn't find anything wrong with them. AlexNYC
very true, can"t pass on a deal like that. I purchased from him blemish items. Saves me lot of money and the product look good.
dmyers151
Yep, I got one too. Ordered it a couple days before Xmas, it's supposed to be here early this week. I saw some pics of the 'blem' in the auction, looked like a little scuffing on the crossbar.

psu_Crash
Mine showed up today. Quite a few scratches but that doesn't bother me! Currently working on polishing my rims so it's nothing to buff the strut bar.
D_Venable
yeah, mine just has one larger scratch on the one end, and some nicks right next to it. But for $60 shipped, I don't even care
dmyers151
Same, mine came yesterday, it's got some deep(ish) scratches on the edges, but nothing I'm gonna cry about. Again, for $60 it was a deal and a half. As for a rear, I love my TEP bar, even if I did take a beating on the price. It also came with all the wiring to do a battery relocation.http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr71/dmyers151/Conquest%20TSi/1103080750.jpg

DryBear
Got my "blem" bar yesterday, and there was a big hole in the side of the box The bar was fine though - had a few scratches but don't really care about that. For the bolts connecting the tower rings to the to bar, how much should they be tighted?
psu_Crash
On second look at mine the welds on the plates look like crap. Chicken splattered pretty bad. Still not a big deal at all. I sand blasted them and cleaned up the weld area a bit before some new paint. All good

All good Yeah Mike, when I inspected mine closer it was the same deal, the uprights on the mounting plate had spatter'd welds. I'm gonna hit up the hardware store before I install mine also, I wanna try to find larger diameter bolts that mount the bar to the plates, the ones provided are too small and allow for a bunch of slop. psu_Crash
Dale I used some 1/4" stainless bolts I had laying around and it was a PITA to get the bar on the car. The stud holes just wouldn't quite line up for me without putting some serious torque on it. Without drilling it out I don't think I could have gone with any larger bolts.
