  1. I come back from work today (I walked because its on campus and I'm a poor college student) and there's a note under my right windshield wiper. Thats never good. It wasn't a ticket, but it was a note saying "I owe you 1 new windshield." Sure enough my windshield is smashed all to hell. :x Anyone, it was after five so I didn't get to call any glass places, but I have a sinking suspicion I won't be able to find the glass locally. Does anyone know how difficult windshields are to get ? If I can't get it locally, I'm gonna have to put the car up for sale because I can't afford to pay alot to have it repaired. Doctor's bills plus graduating college in 2 weeks means I dont' have alot of money. Anyway, if you happen to have a windshield for a good price, somewhere close to north eastern indiana, please let me know. I would love you for a very long time. -Tim
  2. So is anyone still interested in this freshly rebuilt turbo ? I'd like to see $300 or even $250 from it, as I stated before, but I'm open to offers and discussion. -Tim
  3. How does sunday afternoon hit you ? I'm in warsaw now, for the easter weekend, and the turbo is in angola. I'll be back up there sunday because I have classes again on monday. Perhaps sunday evening after dinner ? As far as I know, my schedule past 3pm or 4pm is completely liquid. When is good for you ? -Tim
  4. Oh gosh, I was never under the impression this was a direct bolt on turbo ... I'm sorry if thats the impression that I gave. That was not my intention. You are 100% correct in that you will need to clock this turbo (it uses vband clamps so this will not be difficult) and use an external wastegate or rotate the original wastegate a little bit on the housing to make things fit. But what modification past factory spec doesn't require some type of tweeking. Yes, this turbo was designed for a FWD engine, and as such will need a little 'love' to get everything into place on a conquest. I am really sorry if I come accross as selling a direct bolt on turbo. That was not what I meant to do. I have however helped with the instillation of an identical turbo on a conquest before and it wasn't that big of a deal. I understand that probably changes the number of people who are interested in this turbo. If you are still interested please call my cell phone and let me know. Or I guess just post another message up here. I'm really sorry for the confusion. Where most people under the impression that I was selling a direct bolt on turbo ? I really am sorry. I don't want to decieve anyone. Well, let me know if any of you are still interested, again, sorry for the misunderstanding. -Tim 574-265-7638
  5. It is my understanding that housings of all TDO5H turbos are the same, its the compressor and impeller blades that dictate airflow. Am I right or am I mistaken ? However, I do know that this turbo (call it what you will) has a 16g compressor wheel on it. I know, because the back of the compressor is tapered where as the 14b compressor is flat. Note also that the blades on a 14b compresor are all the same height where as the blades on the 16g compressor are offset- as mine are. Hope that helps a little. -Tim
  6. Ok, I got three pictures for you today. I forgot to mention earlier that I have an NIB autometer mechanical boost guage for sale as well. The box is a little worn but the internal package still has the tamper evident seal. When I was getting stuff out to take pictures, I realized that the fittings are in warsaw and I'm in Angola(the wastegate housing is in warsaw, too). This isn't a big deal (80min drive tops) and I'd be happy to mail them to the buyer asap after the purchase is complete. I also happened to notice a slight crack in the exhaust housing near the wastegate flapper. I took a picture of the back end of the turbo so you could see it. I'm not sure if this will effect performance or not. However, I do know that when I bought the turbo used, it was still on the car and wasn't having any problem making or holding boost. Here is everything that I have with me currently. Not pictured is the wastegate housing and also the oil and coolant feed and return fittings. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j247/tmeshleman/group.jpg Here is the compressor housing of the turbo from the top, as you can see the blades are in great shape. I assure you there is zero play in the shaft side to side or in and out. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j247/tmeshleman/turbo-intake.jpg Here is the exhaust housing of the turbo, and you can see around the wastegate flapper that there is a small crack that has developed. This was not a problem when I bought the turbo, so I doubt it will be a problem in the future. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j247/tmeshleman/turbo-exhaust.jpg If you have anymore questions, comments or concerns PLEASE call my cell phone and talk to me a little. Posts on a message board are cool and all, but I'm selling this because I need some money and the bills aren't too patient. I'll be going to warsaw this weekend should anyone wish to meet me there to look at things, let me know before tomorrow evening and I'll bring the turbo with me. QuickConqq - please call my cell number, I'm willing to set up a meet time soon. Like I said before, I'm in a pinch for cash. Let me know asap. Call me anytime, you won't wake me up, sleep is for weenies. Thanks for looking guys. If anyone is interested in the boost guage let me know, I'll let it go for a very affordable price. 8) Oh, one more thing, buyer to pay actual shipping. -Tim Cell Number: 574-265-7638
  7. well, first come first serve, so quikconq your selcome to look at it. I'll be in warsaw IN this weekend, for the Easter holiday. I'm in Angola IN right now if you'd like to come to my house I can give you directions. Please call my cell phone tonight and set up a time/place to meet with me. I have bills that I need to pay asap. Fijiphil your next in line and starionboy84, your third. I'll do my best to get some pictures up this afternoon/evening. I'm graduating from college here in a few weeks and half my stuff is packed already, so I gotta dig out my digital camera. But I will, just give me a bit of time. Thanks, Tim
  8. I bought a good S16g last fall for my conquest. Anyway, after getting it I decided to rebuild it because, heck, I couldn't put it on till the spring anyway, too cold outside :-D Well I rebuilt the sucker and now I can't afford to continue work on my conquest so in order to lessen the damage of my bills, up for sale is a freshly rebuilt S16g. It spins like a dream, no play side-to-side or in-and-out. It will come with the oil and water fittings, plus a J-pipe and o2 housing. I would like to get $300 for the lot, but I'm open to offers. If there is any interest in this stuff, let me know and I'll post up some pictures. If you have any questions/concerns/comments please give me a call at 574-265-2722. My names Tim. Looking forward to hearing from you.
  9. bah, after shipping I was 5 bucks off. So yeah, 50obo shipped anyone ? cheaper than summit, not by alot, but I'm kinda in a hurt for cash. Tim Eshleman
  10. I've also got a autometer mechanical boost guage, new SEALED in box, number 4301. Would fit perfectly in the stock boost guage location. You know you want it. $60 shipped or best offer ? I'll put pictures up after work. -Tim Eshleman
  11. (I hope this is in the right forum) ok, I have an autometer boost guage with memory and a warning light and a bunch of other fancy stuff ... don't worry it was free. Anyway, it has 1 power line and 1 ground line. It also calibrates itself it recieves power (to adjust for elivation etc etc). Here's my problem: I'm not sure where to get power for it. Currently I have it hooked to an accesory line so that when the ignition is turned on, it comes on. Seemed to work great, until I started the car. When you turn the key to the 'start' position the flow to accesory wires is momentarily interupted. Well, it may be a quick moment(car starts on 1st or second crank when cold, 3rd or 4th when warm), but its enough to make the guage recalibrate itself ... while the engine is spinning. Anyway, the calibration is all off and the guage is undependable. I really don't want to have a switch to turn it on before I start the car. Where could I get an accesory line that isn't interupted when the car is started ? Or, what wire would you recomend in stead ? Or should I sell the guage to someone else and buy a mechanical guage ?(>_<) -Tim Eshleman
  12. anyone go from the maft to an mpi setup ? Please sell me your old translator. 8) -Tim Eshleman
  13. so .... are these being produced yet ... because I would buy a pair like right away. Especially considering that my driver side light doesn't go up all the way, and just shoots light down onto the middle of the lane 5 feet infront of me. >_<
  14. great guy, more than helpful. Shipped the parts to me fast and in good shape. Great guy, I would buy from him again. -Tim Eshleman
