  1. So im getting windshield wipers today, and come to find out the wipers dont fit. After inspecting the wiper arms, they look like something is missing. I dont know if there is a pin that slides through the end of the arm or what. Do i need new arms, or do i just need to find pins and wiper blades that fit?
  2. Thanks guy. The info is greatly appreciated. Now its on to hunting down a windshield in the Kansas City area. I think there are but 2 or 3 windshields available so i need to jump on that lol
  3. I have a leak in my exhaust manifold gasket. Is it possible to replace this without pulling to turbo? Im guessing this is probably going to be a pain in the a** to do. Do any of you have tips or tricks you use to get this changed the easiest and fastest way possible? Thanks
  4. I would like to squeeze as much power out of this stock motor as possible to make it appear as original as possible. thats why im not doing any swaps. I want an original look to the car but a good amount of power.
  5. Im not sure where to post this but here goes. How big can i bore out the block to? Id like to go 3.0, but i just wanted to check and see if that is possible on the stock block. If its not possible, what is the biggest size i can go? Thanks, Chris.
  6. I need to bleed the coolant system in my 87 conquest, but i am unsure of how to do this. ive never owned a car that needed the coolant system bled. Thanks.
  7. Hey david, im looking for 2 9in rear wheels. and i also am looking for a lower air dam for an 87. Thanks, Chris.
  8. Yeah im going to end up doing that. I havent been able to drive it enough to see if it over heats while the car is moving. Because when it over heats its sitting at an idol. Thanks guys for all the input.
  9. Thanks. I will definately be looking into this more today.
  10. I now the head gasket is fine, the oil isnt foamy or milky, and the rad is new. So ill look into the fans and the sensors. thanks
  11. Ok, i bought an 87 conquest this past weekend and im in the process of getting it to daily driver condition. But, im having an issue with the car over heating. I replaced the thermostat and its all topped off with coolant, but the car still over heats. The car also sat for 10 years but the previous owner said the car ran great until that thermostat stuck shut. So now im fresh out of ideas on what could be causing the car to over heat. Thanks.
