  1. I received the last steering coupler of this last group and installed it tonight after work. My '86 was a little different than the instructions on removing the interior pieces, so it was actually easier. The hardest part was getting the last pin out of the ring before you can install the new coupler. I need to buy a bigger hammer. I used a short, regular screwdriver to pry the grommet to the side while installing the column for clearance of the bolt, which I left long, . I feel extremely lucky because the coupler went on the splined-end of the steering box on the first try, by myself. The test drive proved the redesigned steering coupler works as advertised. I am so happy I have tight steering again with no play from the coupler anymore. Thank you for providing this well-designed and needed product!
  2. Thanks. When we built our house, my girlfriend wanted a big stove for the kitchen and I got the lift for the garage. LOL.
  3. Thanks. It is a '69 427 tri-power. My dad bought it new and left it to me.
  4. I am addicted to machinery. And my photo upload limit was reached, even with small pics.
  5. Hello. I am on the East side of Orlando.
  6. Oops. I am in East Orlando, south of Chuluota, in the woods.
  7. Thanks. Let me know if you need anything, also.
  8. I will take a look to see if it is something I can do. Thanks.
  9. I just purchased a black 86 Starion on Bring A Trailer a couple of weeks ago. I have always liked the looks of them and when one came up for auction, I ended up the high bidder. I am not sure what I am going to do with it yet as I found I don't fit very well in the car ( I am 6'-5"). The car is clean and was well keptso there is really not much to do except drive it. It is really fun to drive and the AC (a must in Florida) works very well. Anyone else in Orlando?
