Bill Hincher
I gotta build some driveshafts using the 1350 universaljoints http://www.billsautofab.com/images/driveshaft1.jpghttp://www.billsautofab.com/images/driveshaft2.jpghttp://www.billsautofab.com/images/driveshaft3.jpg drive shaft tubing comes in many sizes, it aint like you can buy it at Midas Muffler, I looked up the different rule books to find the required wall thickness, this is 3 in D.O.M. seamless http://www.billsautofab.com/images/driveshaft4.jpghttp://www.billsautofab.com/images/driveshaft5.jpg

Bill Hincher
the best front yoke i can get for the r 154 converts the yoke to 1310 dana u-jiont, but a u joint is a avalable to convert the 1310 to a 1330 in the front driveshaft , in other words, one side of the u joint is a 1310 and the other side is a 1330 anyway, I got a hold of a friend that owns a splining factory nearby and he can build me some straight stock splined to the R 154, then I gotta mount a flywheel onto the splne and place a 1330 flange on that to get a bullet proof set up sooooooooooooooooo as it stands, I can build the 1310 to a 1330 and build the 1330 into the rear of the shaft and build the coupler needed to connect the 1330 at the torque tube set up Now, that is a 3 inch drive shaft, and it will build much better torque speed, but you should us a loop because of how much momentum the size material will build with RPM i priced a drive shaft lathe at $24000.00 and I didnt think that was too bad but for all the trouble I can build the lathe no problem on the GM drive shaft John
