Thanks guy's haven't done much with it lately besides drive it. It made it to and from DSM shootout this year which I was happy with. Next thing I may tackle is adding power and getting rid of the red engine bay. Yuck!

This car looks even better in person I've gotta say. The pictures don't do it justice. You did an awesome job on this car and I look forward to seeing you modify the crap out of it!

Great job man. I love your attention to details that alot of others would overlook. I hope to do something like this some day when I buy a house. Thanks for the inspiration

Alright its been a while since I've posted. Last two years I've been working on my fathers old 78 f150 that I purchased before my father passes away from als. It's to a state I'm happy with for now. So this winter I'm turning my attention back to this thing.

One of the biggest regrets was not painting the engine bay. Yuck ketchup and mustard!

How hard is it to pull body harness? I've seen in a lot of restoration threads people leave it in when painting.

I got the engine harness by just pulling it through. But the body harnes looks like a pain. Iíll probably just leave it. Itís going to get cleaned up though because iím Not using much from it.

i normally have to slice those stubborn heater hoses and 'peel' em off, in order to save the nipples
there is usually still enough hose length left to refit. I always rub grease in the hose and on the nipple beforehand

good job bringing this car around
