I'm in my car right now I tried hitting boost and as soon as gauge hits 0 psi it just losses all power until I get back into vacum. Car drives fine but when I try to hit boost it just slows down instantly and will sometimes abruptly gets power. Help Pleaseeee

What have you checked, cleaned or replaced on your car?
Injector Clips.
Spark Plugs.
Spark Plug Wires.
Fuel Filters.

Is the Secondary Injector spraying properly?

What have you checked for?
Leaking Turbo and Intercooler Hoses.
Vacuum hoses disconnected or leaking.

A leaking or loose Accordian hose (the one between the Air Box and the Turbo inlet) Will cause this.As will the OVC pipe boost hose to the Wastegate. Also, make sure your Wastegate Arm is connected.

P.S. The Vacuum Advance comes in at appox. 2500 rpms..So, I don't see that as your problem.

My '87 ESI-R starts to fall flat on its face once boost goes above 0 at about 2500-3000 rpm regardless of gear. As soon as the system is under load and boost kicks "sputter, sputter... Tried to check the vacuum advance but when i unscrewed it I realized that it goes into the distributor and won't come out. The mechanic to me its the MAFS and it would be $700 and then more testing, yea right. Any and all comments/ideas greatly appreciated

My issue was fuel pressure. Replaced pump and filters to fix. Most common issue I've seen is injector clip or bad injector. Also if your intercooler piping and maf are all factory, any air leak in the tubing after mafs will give that exact issue. Go over all piping with fine tooth comb first.

Bad vacuum advance or secondary injector/injector clips.
To test the vacuum advance, put a clean piece of vacuum line on the vacuum advance and suck on it,then put your tongue in the end of the vacuum line...if your tongue sticks to the vacuum line,it should be good.
