  1. I'm around every so often. I will end up with another Quest at some point in the future, so I like to see how the community is going.
  2. Obviously people on food stamps or other forms of welfare are savages and do not deserve modern communication methods or really much of anything. They should all be beaten down until they are strong enough to pick themselves up just like I did. /sarcasm
  3. A lot of this could have been avoided if a better compromise could have been reached. The one that we got is weak and won't do squat to help out with the debt. The S&P report all but names Republicans as the reason for why they downgraded the US to a AA credit rating.
  4. It's good, I just miss the join date being shown. You know, it's a lot easier to say something controversial if you have seniority on your side.
  5. If this thread had a soundtrack, it'd be "WHOOOOOOSH"
  6. Grammar is actually taught in American schools, but the teachers don't actually use that word when teaching it. What you're most likely seeing is that students are learning that school is all about memorization for tests and then purging their memory so they can move on to things that they actually want to do. It's a problem the American system has because of our need to have metrics for every possible thing so that somebody higher up can look good and get more money. If it helps, I'm part of a huge forum that regularly bans users who can't seem to use punctuation, grammar, or those who love to use "AOL" speak. It's wonderful.
  7. Eh, this is just some humour (see what I did?). We do the same thing in America just from the different colloquialisms that are prevalent in different regions. In Texas, we are always "fixin' to" do something. Seriously, almost every time I've gone out of state I've had people break their necks in confusion at the phrase because it sounds so out of place to them. Oh, and hey, I refer to it as a "feeder" whereas most people call it a "frontage road."
  8. It still sounds better in person. Glad to see that there is no longer a problem with the fuel pump
  9. So if anybody has been wanting to try out Google+, either send me a PM with your email or post it here. Once the invite is sent, I can delete the PM and you can erase your email so that no spammer types pick it up. For anybody who is curious, Google+ is a social network from Google that is set to rival Facebook. So far, there are about 10,000,000+ people already using it. For a demo of what it is like and some of the features, go to the following website: Google Plus
  10. Figured you guys probably already jumped on this, but hey it's from June 28th so it's only a couple weeks old. Edit: My avatar is a repost
  11. Jalopnik Yeah, this is pretty cool. Always nice to see some representation out there. edit: Hope this isn't old news
  12. Wow, don't get caught driving the thing with those tags on it. The popo will be loving you. Also, quick joke: What does Ft. Worth have that Dallas doesn't? A major city within 50 miles.
  13. I'm used to the Mexican style of modifying vehicles, but this stuff was a step above.
  14. Good pics for the most part (I think I see one that I'm not that fond of...) It should be mentioned that Illinois did not make the best impression on me because of the aforementioned traffic jam and also on the way home through some broken down town that featured the following: Orange Buick with black pinstripes, dual hoodscoop, and shiny RIMZZZZZ Oldsmobile done up in a Frosted Flakes theme complete with logos, pictures of Tony the Tiger, and RIMZ Old granny in her motorized wheelchair causing Tim to slam on the brakes when she shot across the intersection out of nowhere Chicago would probably be worth visiting, but I'll fly in, thankyouverymuch.
