  1. I know I wasn't first to respond, but I'm interested too.
  2. Hello: This dude doesn't have any more shifter fulcrum bushings: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=93050 Any other sources? Thanks

  4. The manual says use special tool MD998443 to hold the lash adjusters in place (so not to spill the diesel fuel!?) when removing the rockers. I don't have this tool. Alternatives?
  5. Hello: I have an '86 Starion with hydraulic lifters. I'm finally getting around to eliminating my jet valves with the kit I got from Dad. I have the rocker cover off. Do I have to remove the rocker assembly or is there a way to get the jet valves out with the rockers still in? Many thanks.
  6. Hey Guys: Looking for guidance. As per advice read on this forum, I got under the car (1986 model) and twisted the driveshaft (ebrake on). There is about 1/8th to 3/16ths of play. Problem isn't very noticeable right now. Little thump thump when decelerating at slow speeds. Some whine at highway speed. Only bother's me a tiny bit, but I don't want it to get worse. Diff mounts look good. I assume torque tubes and shafts are no longer available. Right? What should I do now?
  7. Attached it a pic of an 87 trans with the part I need circled. If the cup below the circle at the very right end of the photo is in good shape, I'd love that too, but it isn't essential. Thanks so much. http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w607/cavicke75/Conquesttrans_zps9c7d851d.jpg
  8. Sounds great. Payment sent.
  9. It needs to come to Lyme Connecticut (06371). Not a rush but we'd love to have it before the end of the month. Yes just the housing for the shifter linkage, though if you have the cup that covers the drive shaft U-joint at the back of the transmission we'd take that too. Thanks so much for looking. How much did you have in mind? Will Paypal work for payment?
  10. '87. It's for my neighbor's car. Thanks for looking. Lemmie know.
  11. What I really need is the housing for the shifter extension. #15 in the attached photo. Matt Lyme, CT
